It should be noted here that the CCMT cut-off differs as per the course, category, and the college that the candidate wishes to apply to. Other factors that affect the cut-off are:
- The difficulty level of the exam
- The total number of candidates that applied for the exam
- Previous Year Cut-off trends
- The number of seats available in each course and college that you apply for.
As per the marks scored by you, and the previous CCMT cut-off trends you might want to prefer NIT Surat. Now, it is solely based on the previous year's cut-off trends. There is no surety for the same.

sorry to say, you will be considered under general category only since during the filling of application form you did not mention about ews, so your score , rank has based upon general cutoff. since you did not get the qualified score for general category, you will not eligible to apply for CCMT counselling.
however apart from gate there is many other M.TECH entrance test which held by state wise and Institute wise.

The eligibility criteria for the CCMT is the candidate should have passed and have secured atleast 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate marks ( GEN/EWS/OBC), whereas for SC/ST/pwd candidates it's 6.0 CGPA and 55% aggregate marks.
Therefore you are definitely eligible for the CCMT.
OGPA is nothing but overall grade point average.

Eligibility Criteria :
- GATE Qualification
Having a valid GATE score in 2019/2020/2021
- Qualifying Degree :
The candidates should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10- point scale) or 60% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates.
If the result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission is permitted to a candidate subject to meeting above minimum qualifying degree requirements
For each programme, eligibility is separately defined based on certain combinations of degree disciplines and GATE paper
- Additional certifications/ qualifications :
Candidates possessing certificates/ qualifications from any of the professional societies (such as The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE), The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (IIChemE), The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), The Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), etc. ) and have enrolled with these institutions with permanent recognition may also be eligible to participate in some of the PG programs through CCMT
