Both the colleges are good and provide good placements and the faculty of both the colleges are well educated. But if we compare both the colleges on the basis of placements record, CGC landran is better. The highest placement offered in CGC landran was 31.77 lakhs per annum and the average placement is around 6-7 Lakhs per annum. The faculty of CGC landran is also great, they are very supportive and understanding. The infrastructure of CGC is very wide and huge, the campus is spread across 450 acres of land, there are 12 blocks with management block at the starting.

CGC have two campuses - CGC landran and CGC Jhanjeri. Landran campus have two engineering college. To be honest CGC landran is better than CGC Jhanjeri in every aspect. Whether it is placements, or experienced faculties are concerned. Moreover students from both the campus will sit together for placement but considering the placement records, CGC landran is more preferred.

The placement cell in CGC is very strong and promising. As far as Computer science is concerned, now a days computer science is very much popular and very fast growing branch. The college has good placement record with highest of 31.77 Lakhs per annum offered last year. 

The faculty if CGC is really very cooperative and helping. The teachers are well educated and treat everyone with the same scale no sense of discrimination is experienced.

Placements is the main thing Chandigarh university and Chandigarh group of colleges are known for. CGC's placement rate is almost 90% and it will definitely increase in the future. Last year highest package offered was 31.77 LPA by Amazon. The average placement is about 8-9 Lakhs per annum. You surely can achieve it if you work hard and sincerely :)

Both the colleges are good. The highest package of DAV institute of engineering and technology jalandhar is 20.5 lakhs and the highest package of CGC landran from CSE was for 32 lakh per annum at amazon. The placement cell of both the universities work hard for their students placement.

Both colleges has the same rankings on the basis of various factors like placements, faculty, infrastructure ect... Therefore it dosen't matter which college you are choosing as both are equally good. So think wisely and choose as per your convenience. The admission procedure in both the colleges is purely based on the acedemic performance and national level examinations. They offer admission to only the eligible candidates.

Yes, indeed. 60% in PCM aggregate is the ideal common cutoff standard for most of the engineering colleges of India. This fact however exempts prestigious colleges like IITs, BITS Pilani the likes of which require a minimum of 75% in PCM aggregate of boards or the presence in top 20 percentile of the respective board.
