Hi Arindam!! Congratulations on your rank!!! First of all I would like to inform you that chemical engineering branch isn't available in VIT,Chennai and coming to VIT,vellore the cutoff for chemical engineering in recent years have been around 20,000 so you have hardly any chance of getting it. You can try for some other college or go for management quota.

Reservation for EWS category is being provided for the first time by NTA in JEE Main exam therefore it would be difficult to tell you about your chances of admission as previous year cutoffs for EWS category is not available.

According to your marks in gate 2019 there is very less chance that you can get seat in IIT kanpur as according to previous year cutoff Your marks should be Above 640 in order to get admission in Civil engineering courses in obc category.
