is there any different type of paper for humanities background in cds
hey there
Hope you are doing well
For CDS you have to give exam only for two papers , i.e. English and General Knowledge. The exam will be conducted in offline mode i.e. through pen and paper.
The eligibility criteria for giving CDS exam is graduation , it doesn't matter from which college and by which subject you had done your graduation And if you had done your 12 standard in humanities stream it doesn't matter.
hope this helps you

difference between cds and ssb
Hello Aspirant.
Hope you are doing well.
The difference between cds and ssb are as follows;
CDS = CDS exam is also known as Combined Defence Services Examination and is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment of Commissioned Officers in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed. The Combined Defence Services Examination (abbreviated as CDS Exam) is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment of Commissioned Officers in the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.
SSB = The SSB exam is an entrance exam for the army, navy and air force. The SSB exam is a written exam and divided into three Phase – Physical Efficiency Test for Phase-1, Written Examination for Phase-II and Trade Test for Phase-III. It is mandatory to clear all three phases. If you are interested to work in the SSB department at the constable post, then you must fulfil the eligibility criteria first.
GOOD LUCK, STAY MOTIVATED AND HOPE THIS HELPS.
Thankyou.
