Sir my son completed BE , ECE with GPA 7, pl advise for further studies or any software course required for job,
I would advise you to ask your son only , what he want to become in life. What kind of work he likes to do , as for we engineers we can get into any field of work . It should be your sons desire and passion about the jobs he would like to do .
After B.TECH IN ECE , there are two ways , either he can apply for further studies or get a job.
For further studies, Masters in technlogy or MBA are both one of the best post graduate courses . Masters in technology will give him a job of a researcher( like a scientist) or a developer(who develops things like software ) . MBA will lead to a job in a private or government sector as a for example manager like General Manager , Operations manager, Marketing manager, Human Resource manager, Finance manager etc:
Software courses are roughly of 19 types , he can be a master in any of the field . There are 19 types of developers in the information technology industry :
FRONT END DEVELOPER
BACK END DEVELOPER
WEBSITE DEVELOPER
FULL STACK DEVELOPER
MIDDLE - TIER DEVELOPER
DESKTOP DEVELOPER
GAME DEVELOPER
GRAPHICS DEVELOPER
MOBILE DEVELOPER
DATA SCIENTIST
BIG DATA DEVELOPER
DEVOPS DEVELOPER
CRM DEVELOPER
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
WORDPRESS DEVELOPER
SECURITY DEVELOPER
HIGH LEVEL DEVELOPER
EMBEDDED DEVELOPER
These 19 types of software courses are available everywhere , online or in any private institution . If he wants to become a software developer then he should be a master in one of the above courses shall lead him to a good job with heavy salary.
Is there good value for telecommunication engineers?
Hey,
Basically, a telecommunications engineer is responsible for designing and overseeing the installation of telecommunications equipment. It is derived from Electronics and Communication Engineering where it deals with both hardware and software areas of telecommunications. The value is purely dependent on the designated job. In India, the average salary is 25000 per month.
Hope this helped you.
Thank you :)
I got 89 percentalie in mains which iiit or nit i get
Hey Avinash! This year JEE Mains 2019 cutoff for general category was 89.75 percentile. So according to the percentile you mentioned you have not cleared JEE Mains 2019 cutoff which means you are not eligible for JoSAA counselling 2019 there for you won't be able to apply for NITs and IIITs.

Can I study this course? Give me some tips?
Hello Praveen
If you are talking about Electronics and Communication .I can say that yess….the scope is extremely good.
But let's see some truth behind the engineering colleges of india. In this branch they teach us about the basics of electronics which was popular in the earlier days of 80s and 90s , but now the scenario is completely changed, now a days technologies are improving in an exponential manner and by the time you will complete your degree, you will find that the technology is on a whole new level.
So I would like to give you some piece of advise that if you are really passionate about technology ,then yesss…its a branch for you (but to find a scope in this branch you have to put all your efforts, you have to know about nanoscience, VLSI, Communication technologies, IC fabrication,Digital systems,Embedded systems, DSP etc )
Its my sincere advice to you that if you loose your hold on your subject you will find it very difficult to get a good job in ECE and you will probably end up getting a job in any software company which are now a days mass recruiters( I don't want to specify their names) and then after doing job of approx 2–3 year you will probably say “this branch does not have scope in India or I wish I could have studied those things while I was in college or blah blah”
So the conclusion is that ECE does have a very good scope only if you grind hard to make it happen.
I want to do mba after my graduation please tell me if I do mba it will be helpful to my carrier or not?
Hi aspirant,
You may pursue any kind of course of your interest according to the eligilbilty criteria. Now if you are looking for MBA it is also a good carrier option. MBA can be verybeneficial qualification to take as it increases both the skills and knowledge in the finance sector.
However, there are many good reasons for which it is worth studying for an MBA are-
- Enhances knowledge
- Be your own boss
- Networking skills
- Communication skills
- Better carrier opportunities
- Higher salary potential
Hope the information is satisfactory
Thank you!!

How different???? Which is Better?? Electronic and Communication Engineer Or Electronic and telecommunications engineer,
Electronics and Telecommunication is a major field that falls underElectronics Engineering.
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) : Branch deals with analog and digital transmission & reception of data, networking, voice and video, solid state devices, microprocessors, digital and analog communication, satellite communication, antennae and wave progression. It also deals with the manufacturing of electronic devices, circuits, and communications equipment like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits, microwaves, and fiber among others.
The work of electronics engineer includes building electronic components for integration into larger systems, Integrated Circuit (IC) design work, board layout, programming micro-controllers and microprocessors, and field testing.
These engineers deals with all of the applications which make our life easier and enjoyable such as Television, Radio, Computers, Mobiles etc. are designed and developed by Electronics and Communication Engineers.
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) : Branch deals with various principles and practical aspects related to the designing various telecommunication equipment. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers develop prototypes of integrated circuit components. Apart from this, it also combines various aspects of electrical, structural and civil engineering as well.
Telecommunications engineers handle different types of technology that help us to communicate. They research, design and develop satellite and cable systems, mobile phones, radio waves, the internet and e-mail.
Both fields are good in their respective fields. Choose that field in which you are interested.
