I am pursuing my btech 3rd year in the stream of ECE. I am interested in core side. Kindly guide me in that regard.
Hey, I would like to know more about your interest in topics or other things related to ECE branch.
Are you willing to do any core Jobs related to your branch?
If yes, I would suggest you should go for Jobs in companies like Bharat Electronics Limited, BHEL, BSNL and many other companies like these. You can apply for jobs in these companies through Gate as these are PSUs.
But if you are interested in research work on some topics of your branch I would suggest you go for M.tech and then for PhD in the subject you are interested in.
I hope I made myself clear for any further doubt regarding this please ask in comments.
What rank in wbjee should I need to get this engineering?
Hello dear,
As you want to take admission in branch communication engineering through wbjee, so it would be better to do this course from a good college that is jadavpur university. You should bring your rank in wbjee under 400 to get this branch or marks above 115 (if you don't a domicile of west Bengal).
Hope this information helps you.
Good luck
I want to become a nuclear scientist. Iam currently in the class 12th.
As per your question,If you directly join India's prominent Institute like BARC, IGCAR for nuclear engineering, you either must have good gate score or you have above 99 percentile in BARC OCES examination.
If you want to pursue in UGC certified colleges these are some colleges which provides Nuclear engineering program: IIT,kanpur, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University,Gandhinagar.
TADA after completing two years you will be Nuclear Scientist.
Hope this information is relevant to your question.
Thank you:)
# Really i am class 1o know after that
Hello
If you wish to opt for Engineering, you should take Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in class 11th and 12th.
After class 12th, you will have to appear for engineering entrance exams for admission to colleges. Various entrance exams are conducted such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, MHT CET, etc.
You can opt for Electronics and Communication Engineering.
You should focus on your Class 10th studies and make sure to study well in 11th and 12th. Keep your fundaments clear as question in the entrance exams are asked from class 11th and class 12th syllabus only.
Do let us know if you have any other query.
Good Luck!
Diff between electrical and communication engineer and electronic and communication engineering, and what today market need most
Dear aspirant,
Both Electrical engineering and Electronics Engineering deals with signal. But the diffrence is tha Electrical engineer work with signals of HIGH POWER and LOW FREQUENCY . So in their course they study aboutmachines working on such signals Like Motor, Generator, Transformer.
Wheras Electronics and communication, is about signals of LOW POWER and HIGH FREQUENCY. These signals are used in data transmission for communication So ECE focus on topics like semiconductors,Diodes , Transistors ,ICs.
In electrical engineering, the competition is not very tough and the availability of jobs too are good. Electrical graduates are employed in Electricity Boards/Utility companies responsible for installation. For individuals dreaming of JTO(Junior Training Officer), DRDO(Defence Research and Development Organisation), ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation) and GATE, EEE is not a good choice. This is because they have a separate paper for ECE, while students pursuing electrical have to study a lot of other things. Besides this, Electrical students can’t take IES while ECE students can.
What are jobs are offered in this cose
Hello.
Having a further look at the career prospects, there is bound to be huge demand for competent engineers in electronic industry to cope this demand in technology. The engineers would be involved in sustaining cutting edge technology to stay ahead in competition.
- An electronic engineer can find a job in Consumer electronics manufacturing organization , Telecommunication & IT industries, Health care equipment manufacturing , Mobile communication(2G,3G,4G), Internet technologies, Power Electronics, and other industries like steel, petroleum and chemical industry, directing control and testing production process.
- Electrical Technicians and technologists can specialize in technical sales, product representation, systems management, the design and manufacture of electronic devices and systems, or the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic systems and equipment.
- They may also work with computers and electronic equipment in the medical, manufacturing, industrial control, telecommunications, aeronautical and military fields.
ECE also have several job openings & good pay-packages as compared to other branches. - Electronics and Communication Engineers are acquired by top recruiters (both private and government) like DMRC, Siemens, Motorola, Intel, Texas Instruments, BEL, ISRO, DRDO, Accenture, Wipro, HCL Technologies, NVidia, Samsung, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, Conexant, MTNL, AIR, BSNL, Indian Air force, Indian Navy, Railways, Bharat Electronics Ltd and Flextronics and Philips Electronics.
All these developments have been fueled by advances in communications technology. new protocols and coding schemes, new ways to represent video, images and speech as data, new means of delivering this information to users via cable, fiber, and increasingly via radio are constantly being emerged. These developments are, in turn, based on sound engineering principles.
The average salary of an Electronics and Communication degree holder is between INR 3.5 lakh and INR 4.5 lakh per annum. Fresher candidates usually get a starting salary of INR 20,000 to INR 30,000 per month depending upon their interview performance and knowledge. The salary package offered to an IIT graduate is on higher side – the average salary is INR 10.55 lakh per annum and maximum is INR 25 lakh per annum.
Hope this is helpful.
Good luck.
