Management quota seats in computer science engineering and specialization

Prahvi Sharma 13th Jun, 2025

For Computer Science Engineering (CSE) under management quota:

  • Seat Availability: Typically 10–15PERCENTILE of total seats in private (or deemed) engineering colleges

  • Specializations: Management quota seats are generally available across all CSE-related specializations (AI/ML, Data Science, etc.) in private institutions.

  • Fees: These seats usually cost significantly more (often several lakhs/year), and require direct applications to the college.

In short: Expect around 10–15PERCENTILE of CSE seats to be under management quota, available in all specializations, with higher direct-fee admissions.

In application of UG entrance exam, the computer centre entered my BSc nursing percentage as 78. But I actually has 98%. I provided all marklists. Does this affect my admit card or Eligibility for writing exams

gopi 30th May, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

As long as you have submitted all of the correct mark lists and accompanying documents; with your actual percentage (98%); and the only mention of your computer centre wrongfully recording a mark of 78%, I do not believe it should have any bearing on your qualification or admit card for UG entrance because the exam authority has to look at your documentation during the scrutiny process.

In fact, you should contact the appropriate examination authority or helpline promptly to call attention to the error. I would do this in writing or by official university email, attach copies of your mark sheets and indicate the mistake. At least this way, your eligibility has been clarified so when we get to the selection or counseling stage, it can't be raised there.

What is the fee for computer science engineering without EAPCET rank

kumardurgesh1802 29th May, 2025

Hello there,

If you want admission in Computer Science Engineering without an EAPCET rank, you can apply through management quota seats in private engineering colleges.

  • Eligibility: You must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, usually with at least 50% aggregate.

  • Fees: Fees under management quota vary widely depending on the college. Typically, total course fees can range from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 60 lakh. Annual tuition fees are generally between Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh.

  • Admission Process: Contact the college admission office directly to get application details for management quota seats. You may need to submit 10th and 12th mark sheets, ID proof, and other documents. Some colleges may conduct counseling or interviews.
