I scored 76 percentile in jee mains exam... I am from OBC category.... can i get a seat in tezpur university btech... computer... or electronics?? .. Any hope? state quota...
Hello Aspirant,
See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your OBC-NCL rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.
So If we go through the analysis of Percentile Vs CRL rank Vs OBC rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL and OBC rank are expected to be in the range of 245520 - 276000 and 64000-68000 respectively.
Note that the ranks which are predicted are only the expected ranks on the basis of previous year's data so your actual ranks might vary depending upon current factors.
Based on such rank you have almost no chances for School of Engineering, Tezpur University, Napaam, Tezpur because the closing OBC rank in 2021 was around 27k in Round 6 of JOSAA counselling.
You can check out previous year's cut-off from the official website given below :-

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
On such percentile, being an OBC candidate you have very good chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.
As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile
==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

We cannot say anything precise until you tell us about the college you are seeking for. As the cut off of various colleges are different for CSE and for different courses in those colleges . Therfore ,you need to mention the college name ,that for which college you want cut off for CSE .
But in order to get admission in CSE BRANCH in top most colleges, you need to score a very good percentile(above 97 percentile) in jee mains or advance .
To predict your college , kindly visit the link given below:
1. Through JEE MAINS Exam:

2. Through JEE ADVANCE :
I get Pcm theory percentile 62.4% and get 51% percentile in gujcet. so i get government admition in Computer ya IT
Since you got 51 percentile in gujcet, your rank will be around 33000-34000 if in general.
Admission in government colleges for general is based on merit, so in the stream of computer or IT it is very difficult. The average of your theory score and entrance exam score is considered final. If you are SC, or OBC, there is a chance you might get admission into the stream of your choice.
You can use the any online predictors to check your eligibility for colleges.

i completed my hs exam and i dont have computer science , but i want to do honours in bsc computer science . so what things should i learn about computer before taking this course .Is there create any problem for me . and also i dont know codding or programming . plz answer my question
See, if you are going for a higher education in a field which is related to Computer Science, then you are definitely expected to know a thing or two about Computers. So, if you want to learn the prerequisites of the degree, then you may freely follow the below tips:
1. Learn about the basics of computers
2. Learn about some of the programming languages, pick one of your choice and master it by the time your degree becomes.
3. Learn maths as CS is a heavily mathematics oriented field.
4. Practice a lot and become comfortable with computers.
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Merit Rank is 1508 in NMIMS CET 2022. Can i get CSE or Any specialised Computer Branch at Mumbai Campus.
Hello Manish,
To gain admission to NMIMS, it entirely relies on how many individuals take the exam seriously.
Many individuals simply take the test for backup admittance, such as IIT or NIT students, and do not really wind up sitting down.
The following pertains to the campus in Mumbai:
And for CS it is a little more difficult; a rank of 1300–1500 is good as CS has 120 intake in Mumbai as opposed to IT's just 60.
Even rankings close to 2.5k for the Shirpur campus were admitted in CS and IT.
Note: It all depends on how many students manage to get seats.
Good Luck !!
