Yes. You will get the refund but before 30 days of last admission date itself otherwise you’ll not get any refund why because there is two steps to get refund what are those

1. You have to write the letter to college principal about the reason for the refund.

2. Once the completion letter approved then only you can show your fee receipt to administration department for the refund.

Then only you will get the refund amount otherwise you forget about it. Whatever the amount you pay for the particular college or institution do the same process before 30 days of last admission only. This for only through pandemic situation according to UGC guidelines. If you face any problems about this refund, you can directly put the message to authority of UGC then they will take the responsibility or action about that particular issue.

You will get the refund surely but you have to do two things for the process of refund, what are those:

1. You have to write the refund letter to college principal, in this you will tell the reason about why you want refund it.

2. Once your letter will approved, then you will show your payment receipt to administration department for the refund.

This process you will do before 15 days or less of the last admission date then only you will get 80% of your amount or before 30 days or less of the last date of admission then you will get 50% of amount in your total amount or more than 30 days you’ll get nothing. So be alert of this. This instructions are all according to the UGC guidelines 2021.

The procedure for accepting the alloted seat includes downloading seat acceptance letter, uploading the documents and paying the seat acceptance fee. If you did not pay the fee then your alloted seat stands canceled. You will not hold any right over that seat. However you are eligible to attend further rounds of counseling. Your documents too, will not be considered for verification if the fee is not paid.

Hope you are doing well. You only have to pay 35000 INR only if you get a seat in JOSAA. But I think you have withdrawn from the counseling. Now if you have paid it, and did not get a seat, refund will be initiated in some time. Your bank information must have been taken at the time of registration therefore you need not worry, if you want some answer then you can mail them at csab2021help[at]mnit[dot]ac[dot]in.

First of all congratulations on getting iifpt in csab counselling.

However, if you want to reject the seat in this college, then you can easily reject your seat and also you are still eligible to give JEE mains and Adv Examination, from next year as well.

For more information, here is the eligibility criteria for JEE mains 2022 candidates :

Qualifying exam -

• Students should have passed the 12th class or qualifying the exam in 2020 or 2021.

• Candidates appearing in 12th class or equivalent qualifying exams in 2022 can also apply.

Age Limit - No age limit to appear for JEE Main 2022 exam. Any student who has passed the 12th class or its equivalent exam in the year 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022 can apply for the entrance exam

Total number of attempts -

• Students can appear in the JEE Main exam for three consecutive years. The entrance test will be conducted four times a year.

After withdrawal of your seat in case you do so the csab will refund your fee  which you have submitted for your counselling but the refund is started after the completion of the counselling process and the refund amount is processed in the bank details which you have provided to the csab.

Tech (Branch) __________________________(Name of the Institute) ______________________________through JoSAA/CSAB 2021. I have not submitted my Caste Validity Certificate as I am not in receipt of the same till date. I have applied for the Caste Validity Certificate to Social welfare Department/ Tribal Welfare Department on _______________________ (Date). I herewith give the undertaking that I will submit the Caste Validity Certificate issued by competent authority at the time of physical reporting. I hereby declare that my application for the Caste Validity Certificate is under process and has not yet been rejected. In case I fail to submit the Caste Validity Certificate by the date as mentioned above or found ineligible or information provided herein or in Application Form found incorrect at any stage then the Institute reserves the right to cancel my admission automatically. In such event, I shall be fully responsible for all consequences arising out of such cancellation of admission. (Name of the Institute) ______________________________shall not be held responsible in any case. Yes you will absolutely get your refund if you didn't take the seat in second round allotment but the thing is that an amount of 5k will be deducted from the fees that you have given.

If in both the rounds you haven't got your seat then also you will get your refund after deduction of 1.5k from the fees that you have given.

As you mentioned you didn't get a college in csab round 2021 your fee will be refunded after deducting a fee of 1500. It will be done automatically . You need not worry about that.

If you had got a seat and not reported then also it would have been refunded after deducting an amount of 5000.
