I am studying civil engineering from dsce bangluru -2nd sem but it is very far away from my home town. can I change my college and keeping the same course in 2nd year? if yes, please guide me. name some colleges in North side and way to get into its 2nd year
Yes! you definitely can change your college after 1st year and you directly can have entry in second year for this you need to have at least 75% in your 1st year examination, and you have to take NOC from your college and NOC from that college in which you are going to have admission.

how is Dayanand Sagar college of engineering for mca courses n placement?

Around 35 students out of 54 students were placed in different companies. College wise, 60 to 70% were placed in different organizations. Major companies which visited DSI college were Cerner India, L&T, Infosys, Cisco, MetricStream, Accenture, Unisys, DeltaX etc. Cerner offered 5.5 Lakhs CTC P.A, L&T 3.5 Lakhs, MetricStream 4.5 Lakhs P.A, Cisco(unknown), Unisys 4.5Lakhs P.A, DeltaX 4 lakhs P.A, PEOL 12K per month. All figures of stipend or salary offered were in 2014.
The college provided internship programme. The average stipend was about 15000 approximately. Tyre A &Tyre B companies had visited campus for internship and placements. Cerner was one of the major companies visited our campus and provided a stipend of 20K per month. Several other companies also visited such as MetricStream, L&T, Infosys, MindTree, Accenture, Unisys, DeltaX, PEOL(stipend 12K per month), Tech Mahindra and many other small companies.
course was really good as subjects defined in course helped students to learn basics of industry and also helped in choosing their career path. The electives provided by the college were like advanced java programming, Dot Net programming, Computer Graphics, WEb Designing, XML, Web 2.0 & Flex subjects.

Hello Bharat.
Yes you can switch to ec from civil easily.
But for this you have to fullfill eligibility criteria for college like you should not have any backlog and your percentage or cpi should be also 75+ in first year.
In addition to this few colleges have some attendance criteria also for the same.
