If you are looking for marks then you have to score more than 300 to get into DAIICT.

for general the closing rank was 24.If you have categories then there will be high Closing rank.

to add to the above , you have study hard and get a good score.

after getting your result go for choosing college. Keep high rank goal not a college.

If you score high rank you can go for IIT or NIT. So score high as per your potential.

It would be better if you could mention which exam you got this rank.

DAIICT hardly discloses its cutoff marks for jee mains.

But I would like to tell you that with this rank it’s almost impossible to get admission in this college.

As per general category your rank should be around should be around 15000.

Also your category rank is way far from the cutoff.

But there are many other colleges where you can get admission.

The minimum academic qualification for admission to the programs is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination (mentioned below). The candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology.

Sorry to say but you can't DAIICT with this rank. 

Last year closing rank for DAIICT was 14K (approx)  for general category.  So it is almost impossible to get DAIICT .

But you can consider other options like private colleges in Noida,chandigarh.

Like JAYPEE NOIDA,  THAPAR,LPU ,CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY, CHITKARA UNIVERSITY.

It's never right to get into a college with a management quota, unless its through minority quota , sports quota or scholarships. This will never let you gain confidence in yourself. I would suggest you to target those colleges which you can earn through your own merits or try to give an entrance exam next year with better preparation.

First of all there are two B.tech courses in DAIICT.

1. B.tech(ICT)
2. B.tech(ICT CS Hons.)

The cut-off through JEE mains is nearly rank 12,500 for ICT and for ICT CS Hons. you need rank nearly 8000.
