Yes, you are eligible to apply for the Drug Inspector Exam once you have earned a B.Sc. in Microbiology.
Drug Inspector Exam Eligibility:
1.A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Pharmaceutical Sciences of Medicine in Clinical Pharmacology, or a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from an accredited university is required.
2. The age range should be 21 to 35.
The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, whereas the higher age relaxation for OBC is 3 years.
3.The applicant has to be physically healthy.
4. The candidate must be an Indian national.

The Exam to become drug inspector is not that easy, there is huge competition in this field as well. you have to prepare very well for the examination. The paper is not that tough but the competition is too much in this field. pharmacy students are only eligible to become a drug inspector. A candidate who completes his graduation in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science or medicine with specialization in clinical pharmacology or microbiology are eligible to apply for the drug inspector post
whereas on the other hand neet exam is tough as well as there is huge competition. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. you have atleast minimum 50% in boards.
both exam are hard but neet more tough then drug inspector.

In UttarPradesh India, you need the following to work as a drug inspector.
- Microbiology or pharmacy as a minimum bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 18 months of expertise in the production or analysis of pharmaceuticals on the schedule C (antibiotics or parenteral products).

Since you have completed your bachelors degree in pharmacy you are completely eligible to become a drug inspector. You can be a drug inspector after writing an exam and passing tests. Drug inspector is a post offered by UPSC. After completing your bachelors degree you should apply for the exam in UPSC official site. If you qualified the exam then you are eligible. Few Central Government sectors requires mpharm. The minimum age is 21 years and maximum is 30 years to appear in the Drug Inspector examination.

Ofcourse, if you are an Msc Biotechnology, You can apply for drug inspector post. You should be between 18 and 36 years. There is no other conditions. Candidates completed microbiology or pharmacy are eligible too. For getting the job, you have to apply UPSC exam. A post for drug inspector is now open in upsc portal actually.
