Can I get admission in CET Bhubaneswar (Electronics and instrumentation) , my JEE mains 2021 score is 86.2 percentile (general category with green card reservation) ?
Hello aspirant ,
With your above percentile score , it will be very difficult for you to get seat in your preferred branches as your percentile score/rank is likely to be very less.
Your rank in JEE mains 2021 would be around : 141174 - 158700
Although , you can look for some of the private colleges for getting admission in your preferred branch.
You can also check your admission probability in other colleges in bhubaneshwar according to your rank/percentile score with the help of college predictor tool here :

Is electronics and instrumentation engineering a circuit branch?
Hi,
Electronics and Instrumentation is a circuit branch. Other circuit branches include EEE( Electrical and Electronics Engineering ), ECE ( Electronics and Communication Engineering ). Even CSE ( Computer Science Engineering ), IT ( Information Technology ) comes under circuit branches.
will there be additional rounds in manipal university? my rank is 7k . the cutoff of eee branch is 8.5k but i was alloted in mechanical branch which has a cutoff of 18k . i actually kept electronics and instrumentation branch in between them but also i got mech,is there chance of getting eee in next
RVCE Bangalore followed by MIT Manipal and next VIT Vellore are the three best Colleges for CSE in the above precedence. RVCE is perhaps one of the best College for CSE across India at par with Higher Technical Institutions like Top IITs and NITs, with excellent Placements, Faculty and Academic Outlook.
Hopefully this will help you.
Thank you.
What is the difference between B.tech in instrumentation engineering and B.tech in electronics and instrumentation engineering? Which has more scope?
Hi
Btech Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering-
It is the field of engineering which combines the study of electronics part for sensing the different instrumentation engineering. Various job profiles that can be bagged by an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering graduate are Instrumentation Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Instrumentation and Control Technician, Electrical R & D Engineer, Automation Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, etc.Top Recruiting Companies are BHEL, BEL, NTPC, ONGC, DRDO, ISRO, HAL, GE, L&T, Honeywell, Allen-Bradley, Cairn India, Siemens, Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, Amazon etc.Average salary package- INR 2,00,000 – 10,00,000
Btech In Instrumentation
BTech Instrumentation Engineering involves teaching how to design, make, test, monitor and maintain instruments. These instruments are used in machinery in different industries like power, water, solar etc. The course has elements of Electrical and Electronics Engineering..The average placement package for BTech Instrumentation Engineering is in the range of INR 2 to 12 LPA.Upon graduation, one can get hired as Instrumentation Engineer, Instrumentation and Control Engineer, Automation Engineer, Testing and Quality Maintenance Engineer, Professor etc.Top Recruiting Companies are GAIL, SAIL, BHEL, IOCL etc
Both of them are good and promises best career opportunities.

What are the M.tech options after b.tech in electronics and instrumentation engineering?
Hi
M.Tech. Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering or Master of Technology in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering is a postgraduate Electronics course which is of 2 years duration.Electronics & Instrumentation Engineers are employed by companies that manufacture and sell electronic test equipment, process control equipment and field instruments as well as companies that use process control systems in their manufacturing process.
After graduation in Electronics & Instrumentation one can look for higher studies options through M.E / M Tech / M.S in any of the following areas like Astronomical I nstrumentation,Instrumentation and Control Systems, Industrial Automation, Elect ronics Design and Technology, Process Control and Instrumentation, Embedded Syst ems, Robotics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Metrology & Measurement Systems.
What should I choose between NIT Silchar Electronics and Instrumentation OR DTU Biotech ? I have no particular branch of interest .
Hello Aspirants,
Hope you doing well, I would suggest you to go with NIT Silchar as going in NIT you would get many opportunities and a tag of NIT too and there the placement of Electronics are great they offer a decent package and in case of DTU they gives 75% placements on campus. But, for Biotechnology there are no core companies which visit the college. Only 2 or 3 companies visits like mankind pharma or Ranbaxy. So placements for biotechnology are not good in DTU
if you want to know which colleges are accepting your rank you can check it with the help of Jee College Predictor where you have to put your rank or marks and you will be shown a list of the colleges according to their ranking with their placement fees and everything and here you can make a wise decision to get into a good college so go for it and check it now here's the link
