Is there is any EWS quota in Aligarh Muslim University for Neet Ug
Hey there,
10% reservation for EWS category has not still implemented, AMU is still waiting for the supreme court to deliver the verdict of this case but the case is still pending. So for this year EWS quota will not be there, i.e. you will not get a benefit of EWS quota in AMU for this year.
Good Luck :)
hi ,sir please answer me i am eligible for gujarat state EWS quota not for India.so what i should select in neet form now
You need to choose general as your category while filling the neet applicationform
This is because,
NEET is a national level entrance exam and so you need to fill your category as per the category you belong at central level. So, you cannot choose ews category if you don't belong to it at central level.
But yes,
While filling the form of state counselling you can definitely choose ews as your category because you belong to ews at state level and can avail reservation butfor all India counselling you will have to participate as a general category.
To help you further, here's how you can fill neet application form
To fill the application form you need to go through 5 steps i. e
*neet registration :- first of all visit theofficial website of neet i. e ntaneet to generate your login credentials,
*then fill the form i. e you need to fill your personal academic and contact details
*and after that you need to go for uploading your documents,
*then pay the application fee
- General :- 1500/-
- General-EWS/ OBC-NCL :- 1400
- SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender :- 800
- Foreign candidate :- 7500
*And finally you should take the printout of confirmation page.

with 103 marks in July 27 2nd shift can I get admission in nit Silchar...my home state is Assam and I have EWS quota?
Hi
With 103 marks
-
Your Overall Percentile would be around 93.05 - 95.19 and considering the worst scenario if we go with 93.05 percentile then your rank will be around 71098 - 79925 as per our rank predictor at https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Your ews rank will be around 8000.
It is quite difficult to make prediction but yes as per past year trend , you hold a good chance to get a seat in NIT Sichar under home state
For example
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, closing rank for gender neutral under home state in National Institute of Technology Sichar is given below :-
Civil Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology
-
General:- 87747
-
Ews :-19826 ews rank
You als have chances in following branches in NIT Sichar under home state :-
-
Electrical Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)
-
Electronics and Communication Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)
-
Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)
-
Mechanical Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
It has been predicted on the basis of past year data but cut off/ closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so
To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below

sir.. ews quota available in esic medical colleges? especially in Chennai?
Medical council of India gave a nod to increase the seats of medical colleges keeping in view the 10% increment in EWS quota in 2019. The MCI had approved for admission in additional Medical seats in various medical colleges. Total of 100 seats were increased in ESI medical colleges.

sir I got 93.5 percentile in jee main ..can I get any chance nit trichy in ews quota
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, your rank according to your percentile will be around 65,000-70,000 in generally category and your E.W.S rank will be around 7,000-8,000 you will definetly get N.I.T based on your Gen E.W.S rank. With this you will get N.I.T trichy if and only if you have any home state quota else it will be difficult.
Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.
All the best!
Why some NITs dont have EWS quota? What are the technical issues to include EWS in such colleges?
Dear Aspirant
I hope you are doing good. With reference to your query , I would like to tell you that ews reservation was implemented in 2019 only . It will take time to implement NIT , since NIT is an independent body and so they will work as per their own deciisions . In top nits 10 percent ews reservation is implemented in 2019 only but in some courses it is not implemented yet and seat matrix is still the same . I would like to tell you it will took almost one year to gget work properly

Based on covid situation, only 2 attempts have only been held for Jee mains , out of those 2 , i have got 89 percentile. What is the best college can i get at this percentile in 2021? And is there any option i can get into NIT Rourkela in a low branch as HS and EWS Quota?
Hello Aspirant,
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 112530 - 126500 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing EWS rank for NIT Rourkela was :-
Food Process Engineering branch - 17025 (Home state quota)
And your EWS rank is expected to be around 17,000
So you have good chances to get NIT Rourkela with Food Process branch.
But yes if you improve your percentile in any further session of JEE-Main like around 32-93 then you might have a shot at some other branches too in NIT Rourkela.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

sir i got 89.6 percentile in jee mains 2021 and i have ews quota. can i get into iiitd or any nit?
Hello,
According to your percentile your rank would fall somewhere between 106392-119600. With this percentile you are not eligible to take admission in any of the IIITs but you might be able to grab a seat in these NITs, have a look-
1. National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar
2. National Institute of Technology, Goa
3. National Institute of Technology, Srinagar
4. Narional Institute of Technology, Agartala
5. National Institute of Technology, Mizoram
But you can get a seat under HS Quota, as Cutoffs are very very high for OS Candidates. And you should have scored Minmum 97 percentile to get a seat under OS Quota.
