I have appeared jee mains in february 2021 and got 62 percentile under genral EWS quota please let me know whether i can get seat in any NIT
hi,
see the competition is increasing day by day, cutoff score changes every time and it depends on number of applicants, students category, choice of stream , question difficulty level.and so on. however nits has 50% seat reserve for domicile candidates , so based on previous years analysis you have less chances for any of the nits. so do study sincerely and try to bring better score in next session exam. at this score you would only get private colleges.

I have filled JEE form in EWS category. My EWS certificate issued in 2020-21 and filled JEE form in 2020-21. Admission in EWS quota starts in 2021-22 i.e. after June-21. please tell me for admission i have to get fresh Ews certificate of 2021-22 or first certificate which i have will continue.
Hello Aspirant,
See EWS certificate is only valid for one financial year so if it has been issued for financial year 2020-21 then it won't work for 2021-22 and you have to renew it or should apply for new one, but note that if you have applied for JEE-Main 2021 in February 2021 or March 2021 then these months are of financial year 2020-21 according to which your current EWS certificate will be considered as valid but the admission will be conducted on the month of June-July which will be the months of financial year 2021-22 so you should produce your very latest EWS certificate for admission.
Some insights of JEE-Main 2021 :-

> Also from this year according to New Education Policy the JEE-Main examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and other regional languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam.

I lost my ews meesewa application reciept after submitting it to the local tehsildar. how do I track my certificate ? is there any alternative way? please help anyone
Hello,
You will actually receive the details of the application number to the registered mobile number which you have given at the time of filling the application. You can check the registered mobile number to know the application number. Or once the certificate is approved by the concerned authority you will receive a confirmation SMS to the registered mobile number and the tentative date to obtain the certificate. So either check the SMS for application number or wait until you receive the confirmation message.

sir how many marks in jee mains 2021 I need to get 96 percentile under ews quota .
Dear Student,
For general category to get 96 percentile depends upon the difficulty level of paper,no of students scoring marks above you and many factors. You should score around 130 marks or 130+ to be on safe side to get this percentile.
In ews quota with 96 percentile your rank would be around 13K.For ews category you need to score also 130 marks.

Thanks
what if the college does not have ews seats and i have applied with ews quota.....can i get seat their under general category automatically
Yes. Usually most of the Colleges across India have started providing EWS seats but, in case any colleges doesn't have those seats yet, yu will be considered as a general category candidate and given given seat accordingly. It's the same as it happens in every other exam where a candidate is not able to produce a necessary document or as in your case.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Dear Aspirant,
the possibilities for you to be able to secure a seat at SVNIT Surat is less, as per the cutoff criteria, but do not get discouraged by this as there are still two more sessions of JEE Mains remaining and you can give your best in those examinations. Civil Engineering :-
