why has neet 2020 site opened again for making changes in category. i am general category but i want to use ews quota during admission. Do i have to change it in the application form? or is it okay to keep ews certificate and keep general category in the form. will i be able to use the ews certif?
Since NTA has provided the correction window facility, it is highly advisable that you change your category written in the form. If you want to use EWS category, then make changes in your category as the category in the online application form will be seen while online counselling by MCC and further allotment of colleges.

Yes EWS quota is applicable even to all India quota seats but only for few colleges including all central universities and that too based on certain specific guidelines.
EWS quota for state quota seats depends on slightly different criteria as decided by the respective state authority.

It's tough , but still.
You can try state counselling to find a government or semi-government or private college in mbbs, but I would suggest you to even try Dental and ayurvedic, so that you get a relief and even Vet.

If you are aiming for getting a seat under EWS quota in Karnataka, then you will have to apply for All India counselling, since EWS quota seats are expected to be available this year at 19 government medical colleges and 2 ESI medical colleges in Karnataka. As far as getting admission through state quota is concerned, it seems difficult to get an MBBS seat.

According to the category and rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the branches in DTU as per previous year's cut-offs. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the closing rank was 46953 for PCT branch in DTU under Home state quota for EWS category.

But yes I would suggest you to sit for some other state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Last year the cut off rank for convener quota seats in private colleges under 85% State Quota in Andhra Pradesh was 43976. So based on this, it is difficult for you to get a seat.
