I hope you are doing well, about your question, on the official website of JAC Delhi the following reservations categories are put up :

• Schedule Caste — 15% seats
• Schedule Tribe —7.5% seats
• Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) — 27% seats
• Defence — 5% seats
• Person with Disabilities — 5% seats

Since they have not mentioned any sub categories for General i can say Economically Weaker Section quota is not available. You will have to apply through General Category only.

According to the government policy introduced in 2019, 10% of the total seats were to be reserved for GEN-EWS candidates for admission to MBBS/BDS colleges in India.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued a notice to the State Government, asking it to reply on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) which challenges non-implementation of economically weaker section (EWS) quota in private colleges. Also, not every Private Medical College qualifies for EWS reservation because their Management quota takes a hit.

Maybe it will be present in coming years, let's hope for the best.

As, the opening and closing ranks for a college changes every year, so no one can exactly tell you which college you get according to your rank. Now, with 26K rank in ews quota, your chances to get NIT is very low. EWS quota is started from the year 2019, and it only gets very less number of seats till date. Colleges have demanded more time, so that they can make seats, opportunities for ews quota students as it required change in their infrastructure which is not so easy. Also, the ews quota is around 10%, so there are also less number of seats. With such rank, you may or may not NIT, because government has taken initiative to promote girls education in the field of engineering. You asked if EWS quota is applicable to BDS private colleges in Maharashtra or not.

Now, see, according to the government policy introduced in 2019, 10% of the total seats will be reserved for GEN-EWS candidates for admission to MBBS/BDS colleges in India. General candidates whose family has a gross annual income below Rs. 8 LPA will come under EWS Quota in NEET-UG.

In information brochure, on 22 June, ews was considered in the private medical colleges.

The EWS category stands for the economically weaker sections of the society. To apply for this category, there are different criteria made in different states as well as different educational institutions. If you want to apply, you will have to produce an income certificate (which is the official record of your family's monthly or yearly income). If your income fits in the criteria, only then can you apply for the EWS certificate. Moreover the EWS certificate is for candidates not covered under any reservation provided by the government but are economically backwards.
