10th-85%,12th-76%, if I have a 99+percentile can I get a call from fms?
Hello Ramkumar
FMS does not care much for your past academic profile. Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA (Full-Time) Programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%, Sciences - 55%, Mathematics or Statistics - 60%, Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00 orPost Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.
All they see is what you have scored in CAT and after that, your performance in Group Discussion, Extempore Speech and Personal Interview.
To get shortlisted for the final rounds of GD/PI and Extempore Speech you have clear the cutoff score in CAT.
For Unreserved Category, there cutoff will vary from 98.2 to 98.6
After this, The shortlisted candidates than appear for Extempore Speech and PI rounds. The final merit list are prepared on the basis of performance in CAT, Extempore Speech and PI rounds. The components and weights for the final selection procedure is given in the table below.
CAT 85% weight-age
Personal Interview 10% weight-age
Extempore Speech 5% weight-age
An additional 3% weight will be given to the female candidates.
i have got 90% in 10th,68% in 12 th and 75%in graduation what should be my cat score to get placed in fms?
Hello,
The marks obtained in class 10 and class 10+2 boards are very much important for admissions in the top b-schools by clearing CAT,XAT,GMAT,etc. Many candidates fail to get seat instead of scoring above 95 percentile, because of their low board exam marks or they fail to clear the GD and PI rounds.
FMS,Delhi is a reputed b-school for MBA.It has its rankings among the top b-schools.Now the cutoff for FMS,Delhi lies in the range of 96-97 percentile.Next comes the GD and PI rounds where the overall academic record, work experience, communication skills, personality are looked upon.A final meit list is prepared based on the CAT score, class 10 board marks, class 12 board marks,PI,GD and the extempore. The selection procedure is full of hurdles and a lot of hard work is required
Always aim to score high to crack the cutoffs.Aim for more than 95 percentile and prepare your studies accordingly.FMS Delhi is a great option to study for MBA.Majority of the students are placed in the campus recruitment conducted with handsome salary packages. The recent placement statistics reports provide that there has been an increase of 9.95 percent of the average salary offered.

Which is better for mba in IIMs or FMS - bcom pass course or bcom hons (marketing)
Both courses are equally good. Moreover you can choose any of them suiting your interests. But in MBA if you are planning to take marketing then you should go for Bcom hons marketing because then you'll already have some ideas about the subject. Apart from that MBA colleges will teach you everything from the scratch.
How can I take admission in this college I am parsuing BBM part 3 Gaya bihar
Hello Mohit. With the tag that you have mentioned, I believe, the question is related to FMS,Delhi. For admission into FMS, you have to appear for CAT exam. After CAT, based on your score in various sections of CAT exam, you will be called for the second round.
In the second round, there is a group discussion round, extempore round and the personal interview round. Based on your performance in the second round, as well as the CAT score, you will be offered admission.
