You can pursue an M.Sc. in Zoology after completing your B.Sc. with Zoology as one of the subjects. Many universities and institutions offer M.Sc. programs in Zoology, and they typically accept candidates who have studied Zoology at the undergraduate level. Be sure to check the specific eligibility criteria and admission requirements for the universities you are interested in, as they may vary. Additionally, you might need to appear for an entrance exam or meet other criteria set by the institutions for admission to the M.Sc. program.

iam 12th pass pure geography in arts now iam trying to botany honours in college this is possible
Hello Aspirant
The eligibility criteria for admission in BSc Botany Hons is that you must have science in your 12th grade, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as your main subjects. You should also have a 55% above aggregate score in your 12th Board exams from a UGC-recognized Board of Examination (CBSE, ISC, State Board, etc.)
If you are from the Humanities stream, you are not eligible to apply for any of the bachelor's degrees in science. Since you are from an Arts/Humanities background, you are not eligible for BSc Botany Hons. You may try for a BA program but science is unfortunately not an option for you

i score 437/800 OBC-ncl can i get admission in du with the course of geography honours or any other honours..???
Hello Aspirant
A good score in CUET UG for a student belonging to the OBC category is around 600 because, for the General category, it is 700-750, which is for DU. A score of 437 is not enough to get admitted to DU, that too for the Humanities. A score between 400-600 is considered average and you may get admitted to a decent college in India for BA Geography but not in DU. You may wait for their 3rd or 4th list.
Hope this helps.
I got 40 marks from J&K board and passing marks is 23 but my practical exam is failed rest I pass in geography do I have to give all geography exam now?
Hy,
In your situation with the Jammu & Kashmir Board , here's what typically happens if you fail the practical exam but pass the theory exam in a subject like Geography:
-
Practical Examination Failures : Generally, if you fail the practical component of a subject, you may need to retake the practical exam to pass the subject as a whole. In many education systems, the practical and theory marks are combined for a final grade.
-
Geography Theory Marks : Since you have passed the theory part of Geography, you usually do not need to retake the theory exam unless the board specifies that both components must be passed to secure credit for the subject.
-
Board Regulations : Each education board may have specific rules regarding retakes and passing criteria. It’s essential to consult the official guidelines from the Jammu & Kashmir Board or contact your school administration for precise information.
Recommendations:
- Consult Your School : Speak with your teachers or school administration to clarify your specific case and what is required for passing Geography.
- Check Board Notifications : Look for any official announcements from the Jammu & Kashmir Board regarding practical exam policies and retake procedures.
Arts student 10+2 subject Bengali, English, Geography, philosophy, Nutrition & History. How to appear CUET 2025. UG course Bachelor of Performing Arts (Dance).
You can definitely appear for CUET 2025 aiming for a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Dance) program.

-
History:
This could demonstrate your knowledge of art forms and cultural contexts related to dance.
-
Geography:
Might be relevant if the program focuses on dance forms from different regions.
-
Philosophy:
Could showcase your analytical and critical thinking skills.
-
You can also consider other options like Sociology or Psychology that might be connected to performing arts depending on the specific program requirements.
Section III (General Test) (Optional): This section is not mandatory and tests reasoning, general knowledge, and numerical abilities. You can choose to attempt it or skip it based on your strengths and the weightage the program assigns to this section

hello sir and mam, i want to confirm that I have 5 subject in 12th that are 1. English 2. Physics 3. Chemistry 4. Maths 5. Geography Sir my query is this that from geography subject am i full filling the criteria of 5 subject for joining IITs?
Hello Aspirant
In order to get admission into IIT or any engineering college, you should have 5 subjects in your 12th class with a science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Math, CS/IP) which is compulsory. You should have passed 12th grade from a UGC-recognised Board of Education with an aggregate percentage of 50% or 60% for major IITs.
Since you are fulfilling all the criteria, you are eligible to appear for JEE Mains and Advance. They just need you to have Physics, Chemistry, and Math in your 12th grade, they don't bother with other subjects. Unless you wish to do Engineering in a Computer science field, you are good to go. If you want to do BTech from CS, this will be a problem since you don't have Computer Science in your 12th class.
I have done my 10+2 in arts strem, so my doubt is can i able to take bsc in geography at my college level.
Greeting Student,
If you are interested in Geography you can complete your graduation my taking B.A (Bachelor Of Arts ) with geophagy has your main subject. If you opting for B.S.C in geography you have to change your field from arts to science. You can visit Mumbai university official website for more information.
Mumbai University website. (https://mu.ac.in/)

i took geography in 12 th in place of math subject in science stream . what can i do after 12 th I dont know please suggest someone?
Since you took Geography in 12th instead of Math in the science stream, your options will be different from traditional science paths but can still be very fulfilling.
