Is there any financial benefits for single girl child in nlsiu banglore ??
Hello Applicant!!
As per the information Bulletin which is available at the official website of NSLU it is evident that there are three main types of Financial Aids
University Aid which is administered and funded by University managed funds
External Aid which is administered by the University but funded by third parties
Third-Party Aid that is facilitated by the University but administered and funded by third parties.
Now there are scholarships for PhD students but as such no single child benefit is mentioned there, you are still suggested to visit the website regularly for more updates.
Hope it helps!!!

My daughter was born abroad and she has speech disorders partially autistic, I am a private company employee and my wife is a home maker. Is it possible to get an admission in KV under Single Girl child quota?
Hello! Regarding your query, I would like to break it to you that, during the admission in KV, maximum preference is given to Government employees but, there is a 3% reservation for differently abled children. You can apply for the admission.
is there reservation for single girl child in neet mbbs seat????
Hello,
No, there is no such thing as single girl child reservation. This scheme is for scholarships not for admission process. NEET reservation criteria 2021 is the percentage of seats that are reserved for several categories such as scheduled tribes (ST), scheduled castes (SC), other backward classes (OBC), economically weaker section (EWS), and physically disabled candidates (PwD), for admission to MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses, offered in all medical and dental colleges across the country.
- As per the reservation criteria of NEET exam 2021, 15% of the total seats are offered under the All India Quota whereas the remaining 85% of seats are reserved under the state quota.
- The Central Government has approved 27 per cent OBC and 10 per cent EWS quota reservation to All India Quota (AIQ) seats of state-run Medical and Dental colleges.
- Besides EWS and OBC, 15% seats for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribe (ST).

Dear aspirant.
Hope you are doing well. You have less chance to get a government engineering college in Maharashtra with this presentile. Rank depends of categories like, Obc, st and sc. And cut off depends on various factors.
- No of seat available.
- No of students apper in exam.
- Difficulty level of exam.
You can check out the previous years cut off of mhtcet exam. Link is given below.

Hope this information helpful for you.
Thank you
Hai Sir, In Jac counselling i was alloted in Dtu Chemical in 2nd round. My seat was cancelled, due to am not meeting some subcategories (single girl child,State board topper) Sir could u plz let me know will i get seat in any of rest of the colleges of Jac other than Dtu vthout these subcategories ?
Dear Aspirant
You don't have to worry if your allotted seat was cancelled due to not meeting some certain category, you still are eligible for further rounds of counseling but as a unreserved or general candidate. So you if your rank is good enough to get a seat through general category, then there shouldn't be any problem.
Hope this helps.
I got 73 percentile in jee mains and Im from OBC category and single girl child. Should I apply for Josaa counseling?
Hello Aspirant! According to your percentile, your expected rank would be around 2.7 lakh something. With this rank, it would be quite difficult for you to get any colleges under the JOSAA or CSAB counselling. You can try in other state level counsellings like JAC Chandigarh. Chances of getting a college under these are moderate to low but you can try as there are variations in cutoff every year. You can also try in other private colleges either through management quota or by clearing the cutoff like for:
KIIT, Bhubaneshwar
Thapar University
Chandigarh University
MIT, Manipal
etc.

is there any concession for one parent girl child
Hello,
I hope you are doing fine, Yes, single girl child scholarship is offered on institute level. It varies entirely with the institution or college/university, in terms of fee or what they will provide the single girl child scholarship. Even at postgraduate level, In order to achieve and promote girls education, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has established a Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child with the goal of compensating direct costs of girl education at all levels, particularly for girls who are the only girl child in their family.
There are many scholarships available like -
- CBSE single Girl child scholarship scheme .(For students studying in class XII or XI)[must secure 60% or above in 10th board]
- Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship Scheme ,[For Girl students pursuing M.Tech]
- Kanyashree Scholarship ( only for Domicile in West bengal)
- AICTE Pragati scholarship scheme ( For Girls pursuing Technical degree)
So if you provide your exact information about your education I would be able to guide to more accurately.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck

My daughter has jee main rank 12500 in 2021 exam. She is only girl child. Can she get admission in computer science in pec, chd with home town quota. What other good options in colleges are available for her in this stream.
Hello mam
We can say the scheme in first place aims at promoting education of girls by partly compensating cost of higher education of particularly those girls who happen to be the only or twin girl child of their family.
In NITs and IIITs , there is no such quota as single girl child. This type of quotas are only present in some specific GFTIs and state run government colleges
In addition to the Central Government initiative, several state Universities have also initiated steps like reserving some seats for single girl child. For instance, Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) and Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D) have introduced a Single Girl Child quota, as per which all the institutes offering B.Tech courses in the state have to reserve one seat for single girl children from Delhi. You can apply to these.
