I am planning to opt for ba defense and strategic studies. Is it easier to join in IAF as administration or logistics officer?or can i join indian army, or can i crack upsc cse for indian foreign service?(P.S: I am a woman and a PCB student. A lot of them say only engineering graduates could crack)
Hello,
The eligibility criteria for UPSC for the post of Indian Foreign Service is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, those in the final year of graduation can also apply provisionally, there is no specific aggregate required in this case,
coming to AFCAT, the eligibility criteria for the department of administration and logistics is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university securing 60% aggregate, as long as you fulfill the eligibility criteria you can appear for any government exam, now coming to qualifying the same your stream don't really matter, you have to make your strategies smartly such as get acquainted with the syllabus that will enable you to know what to read and what to skip, pattern of the exams, study materials(keep it limited), go through previous year papers to analyze the level of preparation, apply mock tests on regular basis.
