Dear student, the size of the campus does not matter completely while considering the enjoyment of college life. The quality of friends you have mostly decide whether you enjoy your college life or not. If the campus is small you can hang out with friends out of the campus and roam in the streets of the locality.
Dear Bhagya
If you are looking for admission in B.tech between RVR and JC College and Gudlavalleru Engineering college, I would like to tell you that there is not much difference in both of them. But if you have to choose I would go for RVR and JC College as the placement at this Institute is better that Gudlavalleru College and in the end that's what matter right. Otherwise both of them have good facilities, and teaching aids. I hope it helped.
Yes you can get seat
The cutoffs may vary year wise

Don't worry about it

Based on previous year statistics it ended at 3000 for St category civil
Hello Tarun, you have adecent rank in chpet but ungfortunately you did not have that much good marks in 12th. And as per the eligibility criteria you need have a minimum 45% percentage in 12th to apply for the government college. SO my suggestion to you is that start looking for good private college instead of wasting on it.
Hello Reshma,
GEC is a very reputed and gighly esteemed university which is sought after by several aspiring engineering students, it is one of the best institutes for engineering in Kerala.
Both of them are equally great in terms of education but if yiu consider the placements, then GEC Thrissur has an upper hand.
GEC Thrissur is rated among the top 50 government Engineering colleges in India so you can blindly go for it without thinking twice.
Faculty- Highly experienced staff and teachers that serve as great mentors to the students.
Campus life- You can read any student reviews about this college and you willl not find a single complain. Several extra-curricular activities are available and also many fests are organized.
Placements- Following companies visit the campus to offer jobs:
GEC Kannur is also a great college and you can choose either based in your convenience.
Hope this helps.
Ms.Rinu

HEY!!
Congragulations!! you have a pretty decent keam score ,Actually I couldnt understand the question , because you just have mentioned about GEC,there is a GEC in different places around Kerala.
But ,I will be saying about the one in Thrissur, which is the best among the other GECs,also it has a chemical engineering stream. The cutoff for the branch is based on the community you belong to.
The catholic christian comunity cutoff will be 4568 .So, I regret to say that the chances to admit you in this college via counselling will be much low , so I suggest you to try for the 10% management quota seats.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck!!
