If you have secured 148 marks in JEE mains ( you did not mention any exam) then you will get NITs 100%.
You will get top NITs with core branches. Do your counselling carefully.

Sorry to inform you that HBTI is not going to take admission in basis of UPSEE Ranks anymore. There are no lateral entry provision in HBTI, Kanpur. You have to appear JEE Mains for admission in first year.

This year for 2018, Harcourt Butler Technological University will take admission on the basis of JEE MAIN 2018 ranking.
They will have a separate MERIT LIST on the basis of JEE MAIN Score.

In order to be admitted to HBTU, Kanpur for the IT branch, as per the cut off ranks of 2017, you should secure a rank between 13000-14000. Last years cut off rank for IT was 13468.
