please could you tell me some colleges that provides ba hons in political science and also i can choose history as my generic elective which will counted as my minors degree if take it in all semesters.also i request that the colleges listed should be expect delhi University colleges and should be government as well
You're considering colleges for BA Hons in Political Science with a minor in History. You want government colleges outside of Delhi University.
Here's my advice:
1. Panjab University, Chandigarh is a great option. It's a well-established university with a strong Political Science department.
2. University of Hyderabad is another excellent choice. It's a central university with a good reputation for social sciences.
3. Presidency University, Kolkata, is also worth considering. It's a historic university with a strong focus on liberal arts.
All three colleges offer a minor in History, and you can take it as a Generic Elective (GE) option.
Hope this helps!!!

Hello,
Yes, if you pursue Political Science (Honours) and consistently choose History as your General Elective (GE) subject across all semesters, it can be considered as your Minor subject, depending on your university’s curriculum structure. Many universities follow the Major-Minor system, where the Honours subject is the Major, and a consistently chosen GE can be recognized as a Minor

does delhi university provide joint honours course (history+political science) if yes then are both available simultaneously in physical mode or one in physical and other in online mode
Yes, the University of Delhi (DU) offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) program in History and Political Science. Students can also pursue a dual degree program at DU, which allows them to study two degrees simultaneously, one in regular mode and the other through Open and Distance Learning (ODL).
- Students can pursue one degree in regular mode at a DU college or department.
- The second degree can be pursued through ODL at the School of Open Learning.
- Students must meet the academic requirements for each degree separately.
- Students cannot pursue two similar degrees, such as B.Com (Hons.) and B.Com (Pass).
- To avoid studying the same mandatory courses twice, the compulsory courses from the first program will replace similar requirements in the second.
