I gave CUET Exam this year. Now I have to make preference list for Delhi University. I want to keep my preferences in History, Political science and Sankrit, but I did not have sanskrit in Class XII and would not be able to do subject mapping of it. So can I add Sanskrit in my preference list?
Hello there,
Yes, you can pick Sanskrit in your preference list in CSAS 2024 Phase 2. It is not necessarily required to have Sanskrit in your class 12th. You still can study it in college. And for Sanskrit the cutoff is quite less than other subjects, that can lead you to a good DU college.
I hope you will do good.

i have done 3 year bachelor degree in history through calicut university open stream entrance exam and along with it plus 2 nios which i passed both io n 2020.. does canada accept me for masters program??
Hello Aspirant
Foreign Universities require a candidate to have a 4-year Bachelor's degree from a recognized University/college with enough credits. The problem that many Indian students face is that they have a degree in bachelor's but in a 3-year course. This stops them from pursuing further studies at a foreign university. Still, some universities offer bridge courses for such students. For this, they need to reach their universities 2-3 months prior and do the Bridge course. But all of this depends on the university. This is why NEP introduced the new 4-year bachelor's course.
The best course of action is to go to the Canadian Universities' websites that you wish to join and contact their admissions office via mail and talk to them about your situation, they'll help you out with it. Also, when you sit for their interviews and have a valid answer for your gap year after your Bachelor's, it would be great if you have work experience for that duration.
Hope this helps.
my rake is 117 in pucet pg MA history kya mari addmission hoo pyagi Punjab University ma or hostel ma be
Hello Aspirant
A good or, let's say a safer rank in the PU-CET exam for admission to Punjab University for a person belonging to the general category is between 90-110.
The number of seats available in the Department of History, P.U., Chandigarh. is 50, which includes reserved seats for 5 NRIs and 3 International students. In BAM Khalsa College, Garhshankar, Distt. Hoshiarpur, the number of seats for MA History is 60. This makes a total of 110 seats. So, if you are in the top 110, it'll be a good rank and you will get selected. If you are an NRI, then your admission chances would be great. 117 is a bit doubtful but don't lose hope, some students take their admissions back due to many reasons. Wait for their notifications
Hope this helps..
