choosing Arts or the humanities in your 10+2 and graduation can be really helpful for your UPSC  examination, this is because in Arts you will be learning subjects like history , polity etc which are a part of the UPSC syllabus so it will help you in your upsc examination.

Your UPSC civil services examination consists of three stages

You can start your preparation by reading newspapers on a daily basis. Also, you can revise Class 9 and 10 NCERT Books (Social Studies, Science and Economics). Moreover, if you opt for Arts Stream that will be advantageous for you a questions from Arts subjects (like History, Geography, Economics) will be asked in Prelims (GS) section of UPSC. Hence after Class 10, all you need to do is develop newspaper reading habit and make your basics (of subjects taught in earlier classes) strong.

The eligibility criteria of UPSC is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, there is no specific aggregate required in this case, you can apply even in the final year of graduation, you may try for NEET 2022 if you're still interested in pursuing a career in the medical field, there is no such restrictions of belonging to any specific stream, if you go through previous year toppers list then they come from various backgrounds that of medical, engineering, commerce etc, so if you're interested in any professional course then you may consider it, however there are graduation courses in political science, geography, economics, history, public administration, sociology etc which you can consider, the advantage of pursuing graduation in these subjects are there is considerable overlap with the syllabus that of general studies, and optional, however as I said before your graduation discipline isn't a criterion when it comes to success for UPSC, if it was so then those from medical, engineering, commerce wouldn't have ever qualified this highly competitive exams.

But it is true an ias earn even if 200 crore per it is possible but donot join civil service for corruption,Join civil service for power,prestige,charm of 100 to1000 salutes per day that value is 1 crore so by this doctors from AIIMS,AFMC,CMC Vellore ,enginner from iit,nit,iiit,from management professional like institute iim are aspiring to become an ias ,an another  an ias is much more prestigious than doctor so after becoming a doctor try for ias if you are lucky then you will be select ,in current scenario in front on ias there is no value of doctor, doctor is like as a common man ,ias is a job of a king so due to perks,power,prestige in society than doctor ,ias is the most valuable job in the country

See the subject you are doing graduation on doesn't matter for UPSC. The only thing which matters regarding the selection in UPSC CSE & becoming an IAS is the preparation you have gone through. So you have to make your preparation great. Now you should choose the subject of graduation which you are interested. Pursue that subject. The core psychology behind this is that, if you study the subject of your interest, then it will require less time for you to invest in your studies & you can invest more time in your preparation.

The subjects you have in 10+2 are quite good and if you wish you can do the UG program in Psychology, Economics, or Political Science. This subjects are in the curriculum of UPSC and having an indepth knowledge may provide you a better platform. Now its your choice, the thing you should understand is that your preparation matters & not your graduation subject.

Firstly I want to tell you that there is no any specific stream or subject which you should pursue to make your dream of IAS officer true.

This examination welcomes all the students from all the streams and what it asks in an aspirant is a great dedication towards everything. As you have told that you are confused between Humanities and PCB that which you should take then I would suggest you to take that stream into which you are having interest. Now you can also say that I am having interest in both the streams but by seeing future scope aspect I am thinking to take PCB and to make my dream true I want to take Humanities stream.

So on this I want to tell you that you can still make your dream come true after graduating in a medical field but yes it will take time as the study of medical is itself very broad and barely you will be getting extra time to prepare for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination. Now if you can manage the study and if you think that I am having keen interest to enter into the field of medical then you should take PCB and might be your decision may change in future and maybe later on you will find that you can donate your society by being in a profession of medical or are as a Civil Servant.

So take wisely by thinking these all aspects.
