i will work as ias officer in only one state
Dear student,
It is not necessary that an IAS officer works in only one state throughout his/her lifetime the scenario keeps changing, the state or area in which they are working is assessed and they might be shifted to some other state as well. But initially at the start of career they have to work in one district for 8 to 10 years and gain experience , it totally depends on the quality of your work, also transfers take place but not too frequently.
