How many percentage is required in graduation for OBC candidates
Hi
Your profile suggests that you are a B school aspirant.
You must try to get at least around 50 % in your graduation even if you are from obc in order to be eligible for entrance exams like CAT.
For your reference
CAT eligibility criteria is given below which is the most reputed entrance examination for MBA and it is accepted by more than 1100 B- schools including prestigious IIMs and its eligibility criteria says that
To be eligible for CAT ,
-
you need a Bachelor's/graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university. you must have got at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA in your graduation if belongs to general/obc/ews . SC/ST/PH students need only at least 45 percentage in Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline to be eligible .
-
Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible for CAT examination.
-
There is no age restriction to be eligible
-
It is not mandatory to have work experience to be eligible
For detailed information go through

But yes,
Admission is based on your percentile score in CAT , academic profile like percentage of marks obtained by you in class 10th, 12th and graduation and work experience. So, it would be good if you try to get at least around 80 - 85 % or more in your graduation.
Thank you
i go 44.44% marks in graduation (general). can i enroll myself in 3 years llb program.
Hello,
The eligibility criteria to pursue LLB is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with 45%-50% aggregate, this vary as per norms of the universities such as DU, BHU need 50% aggregate in bachelor's degree, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, but since you belong to general it's tough to enroll in law program of LLB with 44.4%, check out our page at https://www.careers360.com/courses/llb-bachelor-of-legislative-law to know more details regarding this.
As geography was not my subject in graduation. Can i apply for masters in geography in jamia
Hello,
The eligibility criteria to get admission to M.A Geography is that a candidate must have passed 3 year B.A./B.Sc.(Hons.) Geography and must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks or must have passed 3 year B.A/B.Sc. with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Geography and 50% overall aggregate marks from a recognized. If you haven't studied Geography in Bachelor's Degree level then you are not eligible to get admission to M.A Geography.
I dont get good marks in graduation. but I get good marks in post graduate. then can i get admission to mlib on post graduate basis.
Hello,
If the eligibility criteria of any post-graduate program says MLibISc is purely based on graduation, then it's not possible to take admission based on the scores of some other post-graduate degree just because you have scored higher marks in this, anyway if you belong to reserved category then you might have certain relaxation when it comes to your graduation scores.

I have scored 88.6 in 10th and 58 in 12th expecting 7.0 in graduation (non-engg) and belongs to OBC. So according to this academic backgroud can i get into FMS Delhi and how much percentile in need to score in CAT 2021 ?
Hello Aspirant ,
You can definitely get into FMS if you work hard and get good percentile in CAT. Your 10th score is good but 12th and undergrad is comparatively less , however FMS doesn't give so much weightage to past academics and work experience compared to the rest of the other B- Schools. You have to be in the NC-OBC category to get reservation. The CAT percentile that you require would be anywhere from 95 and above. Getting 97 percentile and more is much easier to convert and wouldn't have to worry so much about GD-PI compared to a person who gets 94 percentile.
Hope this helps you! Good luck!
I got 10 CGPA in 10th, 92% in 12th, 9.2 CGPA in Graduation. How much should be my minimun CAT percentile to get into Top B schools?
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned about the grades that you got in 10th ,12th and your graduation cgpa. Considering you as general candidate and you fall into the GEM category, so these marks will give an edge definitely. So, as per my view for top b schools 99.5+ will be a good score.

Dear Sumukh,

Hello,
If you are changing your name by help of law. Means change your name by affidavit then you will be use your new name. And your 12th school said the right thing. But if your college is not ready to your new name then you can show your affidavit copy for proof. May be they will allow your new name in this college.
All the best.
