Try to give more time to your weak subjects.
Make short notes and formulas.

Is Industrial And Production Engineering Good If I Am Weak At Physics And Chemistry But Good At Maths?
Industrial/Production Engineering is one of the most student friendly branches and has a very structured curriculum. Of course you need to be good in Mathematics, as you deal with courses like Optimization , Costing and Accounting and Operations Research, as well as many other Core Courses like Production Control, Siz Sigma, Supply Chain as well as Technology subjects like Analytics. The branch is such tha it gives you a lot of time to learn news skills and technologies and master them.
Ideally having courses like Operations and Quality Management, it also gives you a good insight into how a MBA School Curriculum looks like. No wonder Production Engineers are so good Business Managers and Data Scientists. After B.Tech in Production you could perhaps be a Business Analyst at MnCs like Amazon, American Express or MuSigma , or perhaps you might be an Operations Manager at some conglomerate like ITC, Reliance or Unilever. Most of the companies opening for Mechanical branch during Campus Placements, like Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Hero Motocorp, TVS, etc also open for Production Engineers. All the Best.
sir i have gotten industrial and production branch in jec jabalpur ,then should i take this college or not .
Hai,
In Industrial and production engineering branch you have to study the subjects that involves manufacturing technology ,engineering sciences etc. If you feel your interest lies in those subjects you can go for it. The JEC jablapur is reputed and one of the oldest institution in India.
which is better ece at iiit nagpur Or industrial and production at nit kurukshetra
Hello aspirant,
NIT Kurukshetra is ranked 40th among engineering sector and 8th among all of the NITs by NIRF. According to ranking, it is a better campus than IIIT Nagpur.
But, while looking at the courses, ECE is more of a core branch than Industrial and production engineering and has higher scope and placements. So, the decision to choose between these two must be made by considering your personal skills and interest.
If you are more interested in electronic circuits and its applications, choose ECE. If your interest is in the field of production and marketing, join Industrial and production engineering.
Remember, if you are choosing a college which is the best and studying a course that you are not interested in, it will cause no good. If you are really passionate about the course, the college doesn't really matter.
Hope this was helpful
which is better *production industrial engineering in *top 10 NITs or *mechanical engineering in *Iiit jabalpur? @placements and career value
I would suggest you preferring Production/Industrial Technology at any of the top 10 NITs above Mechanical Engineering at IIIT Jabalpur.
Production Engineering is one of the most structured and student oriented branches. It has courses ranging from Operations Research, Optimization and Analytics, to core courses including TQM, Six Sigma and Production Control. You will have the rare opportunity of experiencing certain critical courses which are again taught during an MBA, hence you get an slight insight of an MBA School.Production Engineering is one of the branches where yoi have the flexibility to develop interest in whichever field you like. You might become an Operations Manager at a Top FMCG like P&G or Unilever, you might become a Business Analyst at MuSigma or Flipkart or you might be a Software Developer at Amazon. Its curriculum basically gives you enough time to practice and learn new skills and technologies. Most of the companies recruiting Mechanical Engineers also open for Production Engineers at Top NITs.
Companies like Tata Motors, Vedanta, Optum, ITC, HUL and Schlumberger specifically open for Production Engineers.
All the Best.
which is better -manufacturing or industrial engineering?which has greater scope in 2024?
Dear Aspirants ,
The Manufacturing Engineering is a collaboration of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, computer science, materials management, and operations management.
Industrial engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with the optimization of complex processes or systems. In other words, it involves the science of engineering things to make them efficient, along with reducing production costs and improving the quality of the products and services.
If we go through the both of course then now days companies are staring their production 3x time speed because customers required more daily basis .So as per my opinion it will also grow in employment and upcoming years we can assume most of manufacturing companies are start their industry and businees from India so it will defiantly in growth way .
So no worry both the courses are highly demanding in upcoming years .You can choose any of course as per your interest and skills are matching in relevant field .
Hope it will helpful
Thanks
Is it worth it to take industrial engineering in Anna university CEG? How are the placements there?
If you are talking about worth in industrial engineering in terms of placement then there is no scope in which ever university you go industrial engineering is an specialization branch and in india companies not want specialization they need people who knows everything. That's why everywhere in mechanical sector mechanical engineers are preferred in the place where industrial and production engineer is required.
after completing b.e. industrial bio technology can we do medical biotechnology as pg course
Hello. Yes, definitely you can opt for medical biotechnology at pg level.
The eligibility is you should have done your B.Sc. (Hons.) Life Sciences/B.Tech. in Biotechnology degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregates obtained in 1 st attempt of the qualifying examinations. And should pass the entrance test provided.
Hope that helps!
is it good to do *industrial design in NIT Rourkela?regarding placements??
Hey there!
There's no doubt NIT Rourkela is one of the prestigious colleges in the country, with great infrastructure, faculty and placements. Although the industrial design branch is fairly new the placements are decent. Based on the data available, last year about 85% students were placed with the highest salary of 14 LPA and lowest being 4 LPA. Some great companies like Byju's design and Think design were part of the recruitment. So yes, NIT Rourkela for Industrial design is definitely a good option.
