Is there any placement opportunity in RIT by studying M.Tech in Industrial Engineering and Management?
RIT engineering college is very good in academics, projects as well as quite good placement ratio is there.
If you are particularly asking about you that can you get placed from RIT then the answer is yes and no. Because it all depends on you if you have not worked on projects, weak in academics, not good communication skills, misbehave in college there automatically the chances of getting hired becomes very less. But if you follow the drill properly and keep you up to date with market and you projects are good for present time not copy paste of others old model then you'll definitely get selected from the crowd of million not from RIT but from your home too, it all depends on you and only you.

Hii George ,
Industrial Biotechnology is a function of applied Biotechnology. The discipline studies the methods of using Biotechnology for producing and processing materials, bioenergy, chemicals and also pharmaceuticals products. Industrial Biotechnologists find alternatives to preserve natural resources through alternatives and sustainable form of development .
Career Scopes in Industrial Biotechnology
- Industrial biotechnology engineers can seek employment in chemical and textile industries, agricultural sectors, pharmaceutical firms and manufacturing industries.
- Students with just an undergraduate or masters degree can only work as research assistants or at best as lab managers.
- They usually find jobs in the research labs of universities and research institutions.
Some of top Employment designation
- Research scientists
- Quality control officers

Hello Aspirant,
Yes you can change branch but there is some conditions:
You should have more than 85% in each semester of first year
You can change branch only in second year
There should be vacant seat in that branches in which you are looking for.

how about industrial design in nit rourkela? can i get good placement packages in industrial designing compared to other branches?
Hi,
National Institute of Technology, Rourkela offers a four years undergraduate course in Industrial Designing.
As the placement opportunities, there are few companies which offers placements for Industrial Designing. However, if have good command over Ui/UX design, you will be in a better position to get the job in Thermal, Honda etc. (4-6) lpa.
It is still not treated as the core subject in India which results in less opportunities for placements. However, NIT Roukela is the best place to pursue this course. After completion, you can go for higher studies in abroad or perform internships to improve the chance of getting good jobs.
Regards

is industrial designing or chemical engineering at nit rourkela better or mechanical or electronics and communication engineering at bit mesra better?
Hello there,
It doesn't really matter which college you're from as long as your engineering fundamentals are clear. I will agree that being IITians or an NITian does give you that initial boost. NIT Rourkela is one of the best college. Placement in chemical engineering is really good out of 65 students approximately 55 students got placed. And as per for BIT Mesra is also same in case of CSE and IT. But I think that mechanical engineering in BIT Mesra don't have much placement . So you should go with NIT Rourkela.
P.S.- It depends on your interest that which branch you want to take. Because you have to give 4years in that branch so you should choose according to your interest because knowledge will help you get a placements.
Good luck!!
How good is industrial engineering at Anna university CEG and what about the placements? I am interested to study artificial intelligence and ML in ms can this be a base for my further studies ? As I am getting only this course in this college.
Yes you can study industrial engineering. It a good branch. You will know new aspects and may be a domain where you want to make a career.
On the part of ML or data science,
Not to worry you can study and learn the skills. You won't get these subjects in your semester but you can take out time and learn it by yourself.
Take a course from courseera or edx. These are online webpages where course are provided from top universities like Stanford University, Howard University , MIT and it connect all the top universities.
You will get enriched knowledge and projects. You can even get certificate but you have to pay for it.
You can show your certificate which will prove that you worked hard in your interest domain and you have skill to use it for market profit. This will make you get a dream job.
Hope it helps!
which course is better in ceg campus -geoinformatics, civil, manufacturing, industrial engineering in terms of all like placements, knowledge etc.
Hi there!
I will give you the over all discription about CEG. And the rest of dicision is yours.
-: Academic, opportunity and exposure- these are the primary function required for an college.
Academic: All the staffs are experienced and very talented person in their field of area but only thing is that few not are good at teaching. And you can do number of projects during your college days with help of them. So if you are really curious about engineering then your level will increase enormously. And it may be any colleges if you are not interested in it no other factors can change you.
Opportunity: In all over Tamil Nadu till now company gives first preference to IIT- Madras and then followed by CEG. So you will get qualified companies for your campus. You can use this college as media to enter top companies in India.Resources available here cannot be compared with any other colleges in Tamil Nadu. You will get an chance to use all of it.
Exposure: Other than academic here there are so many club's for Robotics, Management, Entrepreneurship,Techno-Management, Music,Act, social-services and so many. So you also can get talented in some other field. And the alumni relations are very good so you can get contact in wide range of area and use their help in any critical situation.
NOTE: This year CEG ranked 8th place all over India, analysis done by Human resources & Development Ministry.
And one thing is don't choose anything by it's location because I know both, what will be available in Chennai and what will be available in Coimbatore,if you think your career as main concern.none of these factors gonna help/effect your career. If you do so. What will you do if you got placed at Hyderabad, Delhi or Bangalore.
Thank You.
In msrit Bangalore which branch should I take for good Placement in these and also good for future scope. 1. industrial engineering. 2.civil engineering . 3. chemical engineering
Also, in my opinion I will recommend you to go with chemical engineering as it is a very good branch and has better scope of placements than other two branches.
If you go for higher studies after doing Chemical engineering then it will be good for you to get a good placement.
