I did not gave jee advanced exam in my 12th. So ca I give jee advanced exam in 1st or 2nd drop?
Hi
No, you won't be eligible for jee advanced in your 2nd drop year but will be eligible in your 1st drop year for jee advanced , it doesn't matter whether you appear for jee advanced or not in your 12th appearing year
This is because
One has a total of two attempts for JEE advanced over two consecutive years starting from the year of appearing for 12th board examination i. e as per , eligibility criteria one is eligible for JEE advanced examination only in the year in which he or she appears for 12th board examination and the next year following it.
For example,
Let's say your appeared for 12th exam in 2021 , so you are eligible for jee advanced 2021 , and eligible for jee advanced 2022 i. e your 1st drop year but not eligible for jee advanced 2023 i. e your 2nd drop year
You can check detailed eligibility criteria of JEE advanced by visiting our page the link for the same page is provided below

If I tell you about Jee main then,
One can give JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of 3 consecutive years starting from the year of appearing 12th board examination.
For example,
If your 12th appearing year is 2021
Then, you are eligible for jee main 2021 , jee main 2022 , jee main 2023 with 12th appearing year in 2021.
If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :) we are always available to help you out and guide you
Thankyou
sir actually I miss the jee mains exam so can I appear in jee advanced exam? please answer me
Hello,
No, you can not give JEE Advanced without JEE Main. You have to qualify JEE Main then only you can give Advanced. Furthermore, only the top qualified candidates of JEE Main will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced examination.
This year JEE Main is conducted in four phase- February, March, April and May. The candidates can appear for any or all of the phases of JEE Main. So, even if you miss the February and March exam you can still apply for the remaining two phase of exam. The application form fill up portal for April phase of exam will reopen after the end of March exam. You can then fill up the form and appear for JEE Main. If you qualify JEE main and clear the required cut off rank for JEE Advanced then you will be able to take JEE Advanced exam.

I complete my class 12th from biology in 2020. I will do class 12th only from math from nios next year. Can I give iit jee advanced exam after that? or only after 2 constructive year?
In jee advanced you are allowed a maximum of two consecutive attempts starting from the first time you passed your class 12th board exam.
Now, as you have passed class 12th and you will again give 12th boards from maths subject, then you will only be Left with one chance for jee advanced.
So, as you have passed class 12th in 2020, then this year, it will be your last and final chance for jee advanced.
But for jee mains you can also give next year too.
But jee advanced 2021, is your last attempt as your first attempt got over in the year 2020.

Is it possible to crack jee advanced exam without any coaching classes and doing self study of 4-5 hours .
Hi Aspirant,
For every exam there is always a key to crack it.Coaching centres guide you through the path. But you have to do lot of self studies to crack the examinations. The key to cracking JEE Advanced lies in the understanding the foundations of each subjects and also getting used to the level of JEE Main exam.If you can overlevel the numericals of JEE Main exam you can solve numericals of JEE advanced. You have to give time to yourself and also stay motivated.
hope it helps!!
6 months is enough to get 250 marks in jee advanced exam from starting?
Greetings,
That is an interesting question, first of all.
I'll give the answer in one sentence then proceed to elaborate:
"It can be done, it just depends on the circumstances"
scoring high in an exam like JEE Advanced that tests a candidate's fundamental understanding of concepts and ability to apply those concepts in different situations depends upon
- The clarity with which you have understood the subjects : Some people begin clearing their fundamentals right from 8th standard some begin in class 11th alongside coaching, the amount of time you will need to finish your syllabus to JEE Advanced standards is up to you.
- Practice level - how good is your accuracy, speed of solving, creativity in solving one type of question by different methods, instincts that tell you which step to take next
- D iscipline: How good are you with your sitting capacity and target oriented syllabus planning?
- Support system: Do you have people to help you at a moment's notice while preparing for just 6 months?
Look at it this way,
- you can clear JEE Advanced (good enough to get some or the other IIT) in 6 months time if you already have a solid foundation of all 3 subjects prepared. you cannot expect to start from scratch and finish everything in 6 months then score good scores in such exams even if you are a great student.
- If you have nothing to do in those 6 months other than study for Advanced whole day long then you may just pull it off but I suspect that is not the case since you'd have other things to do, other exams to write, etc.
- Competition is a good way to speed up the process. if you have friends who are just as good or better than you then you can learn together, compete together and finish tasks in time.
- If you are a normal student then it's hard to maintain focus, dedication, consistency for 6 months straight. sometimes just getting into the flow takes a month or two. So it's wishful to think that anyone can utilize every hour of the 6 month deadline
Bottom line is,
Yes, you can do it if you are already thorough with most concepts from all 3 subjects, it will take consistency but it is possible. If you plan on going that way then I wish you the very best of luck.
Good day!
Is online calculator available in jee advanced exam...if not then how will I do the physical chemistry calculations?
Hello Aspirant,
Unfortunately not. Any type of calculator is not allowed in JEE-Advance examination, all calculations you have to do on your own. A rough sheet will be provided to you on examination center and you have to perform all calculations on that sheet and then before leaving the room you have to handover those sheets to the staff present over there.
