As 22 lakh students registered in jee main 2021 then how many students should be considered for calculation of final rank after all 4 attempts?
Hello Aspirant,
See your rank will not be calculated by considering the total number of students but if you attempt in all the four sessions of JEE-Main 2021 then your result will be the best one out of all the four attempts.
How the final result will be calculated for those who are appearing for more than one attempt of JEE-Main 2021 :-
> The best out of four JEE Main scores will be taken into consideration for final result.
> All India rank in JEE Main 2021 will be allotted to you on the basis of your best of four percentiles. Let me make you clear with an example, suppose you have got 90 percentile in first attempt, 92 in second, 89 in third and 94 in fourth, so your final result will be made by taking the best result which is of 94 percentile so your final percentile would be 94 and ranking will be given to you according to it.
> As per your category, if you belongs to any reserved category then you will have CRL (Common Rank List) Rank as well as category rank of your respective category.
The final result will get declared after JEE Main May session.

Good luck !
I have 91.7 PERCENTILE in JEE main 2021. Will I get Amrita Bangalore campus? I have state quota. Will i get a seat in electronics and communication branch?I also have an AEEE rank of 15032.
According to previous year's cutoff you need to have a rank below 10000 to get Electronics and Communication Engineering in Amrita Bangalore campus if you have state quota. Since you have a rank of more than 15000 you have almost no chances to get into core CSE in Amrita Bangalore with you AEEE scores. But you can try with your JEE Main score as you have high chances of getting seat through that score.
Hope this helps
All the best
I am Sagnik Mondal. I am General caste candidate. My Jee Main 2021 score is 89.01 percentile. My CBSE class 10 percentage is 93 . CBSE class 12 percentage is 88 . I am permanent resident of West Bengal. I want to get CSE in IEM. Is that possible ?
Hello Sagnik. You mentioned you are from general category and your JEE Main percentile is 89.01. Based on your percentile your rank may lie within the range of 112428 - 126385. Its better you mention your exact CRL-AIR in the comment box below so that I can give you an exact answer.
Nevertheless, for the sake of answering your question, I have provided the 2019 JEE Main Cutoff Rank prescribed for admission to various streams at Institute of Engineering and Technology for Home State candidates :
- B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering - Cutoff 21020
- B.Tech Electrical Engineering - Cutoff 64207
- B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Cutoff 52846
- B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering - Cutoff 45492
- B.Tech Information Technology - Cutoff 36368
- B.Tech Mechanical Engineering - Cutoff 63219
Your 10th and 12th board exam results are good, so you need not to worry about that. But, if you have really secured a rank within the range 112428 - 126385 then you have less chance to get admission to any stream at IEM, Kolkata.
If you have attempted WBJEE 2021 and you think your WBJEE result is better than that of JEE Main then feel free to share those details with us. We will analysis the data and tell you whether you have any chance to grab a seat based on your WBJEE result.

With 206975 rank in JEE MAIN 2021 and being a domicile of Madhya Pradesh can I get seat in MP Govt engineering college?
Hi,
If you belong to General Category, then it would be difficult to get any government engineering college. You should try to get admission into private universities like :
1. AKS University ,Satna
2. LNMIT Bhopal
3. Sage University.
In order to know what other colleges you could get, you should use this tool: JEE Mains 2021 College Predictor

will nta take the best raw scores of phy, maths and chem from 4 sessions for ranking in jee main 2021?
Hello Aspirant,
Yes definitely NTA will take best of the four results and suppose if any candidate appears for only 2 or three attempts then his/her best score would be considered for final result but also note that it will not take subject wise percentile but your total percentile would be taken into consideration.
Read out the points given below to know how the final result will be calculated for those who are appearing for more than one attempt of JEE-Main 2021 :-
> The best out of four JEE Main scores will be taken into consideration for final result.
> All India rank in JEE Main 2021 will be allotted to you on the basis of your best of four percentiles. sir i get 124749air in jee main 2021 and my obc rank is 36857 i belong from Uttar Pradesh can i get nit srinagar
Hi
It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
****** number of available seats,
****** performance of different students in the examination,
****** the category you belong etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
>>>>> With 36857 obc rank
You have low chance in nit srinagar in any branch
For example,
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020,
--------) Under OTHER state , NIT srinagar cut off/closing rank was 16005 obc rank it was for Metallurgical and Materials Engineering .
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
But yes,
You have chances in govt colleges like
-------) Rewa Engineering College, Rewa:- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/rewa-engineering-college-rewa/cut-off
-------) Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur:-
https://www.careers360.com/colleges/jabalpur-engineering-college-jabalpur/cut-off
------) IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar:- https://www.careers360.com/university/ik-gujral-punjab-technical-university-jalandhar/cut-off
This prediction is on the past year data basis but cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so
To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below
