what will be my ews rank in 90 percentile jee main 2021
Hello aspirant,
If you are looking for the expected JEE Main 2021 Percentile vs Rank or want to understand the JEE Main normalization process, this is the right place. As the JEE Main exam is conducted four times this year, it becomes important to understand the normalization process. Please note the JEE Mains result is announced in percentiles (both total and subject-wise) for every candidate, which is calculated using the normalization process. This article on JEE Main Percentile Vs Rank 2021 will help you get all the details on how the NTA adopts this methodology to calculate the All India Rank (AIR).
However, when we look at the NTA JEE Main scorecard, only the percentile scores in each subject and the total percentile score of the candidates is mentioned. The rank is not mentioned on the result/scorecard for February, March, and April. The rank will only be mentioned on the final result released after the May session of JEE Main 2021. The percentile score (NTA score) is a relative score in which the topper will get a percentile score of 100.
Hope this will be helpful.

Can I get a seat at Silchar NIT with Home State, female only and 69.55% (SC Category) on JEE Main 2021 ?
Hello Aspirant,
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 311504 - 350175 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing SC rank for NIT Silchar was :-
- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering branch - 10750 (Home state quota)
And your SC rank is expected to be around 18,000
So you have quite less chances to get NIT Silchar with any of the branch even if you have Home state and female quota.
But yes if you improve your percentile in any further session of JEE-Main like around 80+ then you might have a shot at NIT Silchar.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

I got 137 marks in jee main 2021. How much will be my percentile if Im from Gen-EWS category?
Dear candidate, the percentile for everyone remains same, regardless of category he/she is. It is the rank which is created for different categories. At 137 marks, you will definitely get percentile above 97 and if your shift paper was tough then it may cross 98 percentile. Marks vs Percentile now depends on many factors like:
-
Difficulty level of paper in your shift
-
Number of students appearing(Students have decreased if compared to 2020)
-
Number of seats in colleges this time.

I AM GETTING AN AVERAGE OF 175 MARKS IN NTA ABHYAS MOCK TEST AND I ATTEMPTED 20 TESTS .WHAT MARKS CAN I EXPECT IN JEE MAIN 2021 JULY SHIFT?
Hello Aspirant,
See usually mock tests are slightly difficult than the actual exam but if you are getting 175 marks in NTA mock test than your marks are expected to be 150+ in actual JEE-Main but it is not any confirmation, all depends upon your preparation and difficulty level of actual JEE-Main 2021 examination.
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then if you get even 150+ marks then your percentile is expected to be in the range of 97.56 - 98.62 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
On such percentile you can get decent NITs if you belongs to General category and if you belongs to any of the reserved category then it would be plus point for you because then you can get some top NITs as well.
Note that the percentile which is predicted is only the expected percentile on the basis of previous year's data so your actual percentile might vary depending upon current factors.
To give you an idea of your approximate percentile we have provided the expected range of percentile.
