I AM GETTING AN AVERAGE OF 175 MARKS IN NTA ABHYAS MOCK TEST AND I ATTEMPTED 20 TESTS .WHAT MARKS CAN I EXPECT IN JEE MAIN 2021 JULY SHIFT?
Hello Aspirant,
See usually mock tests are slightly difficult than the actual exam but if you are getting 175 marks in NTA mock test than your marks are expected to be 150+ in actual JEE-Main but it is not any confirmation, all depends upon your preparation and difficulty level of actual JEE-Main 2021 examination.
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then if you get even 150+ marks then your percentile is expected to be in the range of 97.56 - 98.62 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
On such percentile you can get decent NITs if you belongs to General category and if you belongs to any of the reserved category then it would be plus point for you because then you can get some top NITs as well.
Note that the percentile which is predicted is only the expected percentile on the basis of previous year's data so your actual percentile might vary depending upon current factors.
To give you an idea of your approximate percentile we have provided the expected range of percentile.

I have set a target of 180 marks in JEE Main 2021. What is the rank and percentile one can get in OBC category?
Hi
It's quite difficult to make prediction as marks vs percentile vs rank keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like
-
number of students that appeared in the exam,
-
kind of marks obtained by them ,
-
toughness level of the examination for different shifts of the exam etc.
but yes ,
With 180 marks your percentile will be around 99.09 - 99.17 and if we go with 99.09 then your rank will be around 9309 - 10465 as per our predictor at
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
And your obc rank will be around 2k-3k

what is cutoff jee main 2021 for pwd candidate in may attempt?
Hello,
There will not be cut off for each session of JEE Main Entrance Examination. The best of all scores will be considered for a candidate who have appeared for more than session. At the end of fourth phase the final results of JEE Main entrance examination will be released along with the qualifying percentile. To qualify in JEE Main you must have scored the qualifying cut off percentile in any session. Last year the cut off percentile for PWD category was 0.0618524, this year the cut off percentile is expected to be in between 1-2. Cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. You need to score above the cut off percentile to have decent chances of getting seat in a college.
Are candidates who have their jeemain 3rd attempt in 2020 eligible for jee main 2021?
Hi
When did you pass your 12th, in which year ?
One is eligible for only three consecutive year starting from the year of appearing for board examination for JEE main and if you have exhausted those three years in 2020 itself then I am extremely sorry then you are not eligible for JEE mains 2021.
You are not eligible for JEE main if you have passed 12th in 2018 or before but if you have passed your class 12th in 2019 or after 2019 then you are eligible jee main 2021
For your reference,
Jee main eligibility criteria is given below-
-) Qualification required :- to be eligible for JEE mains for BE or Btech you need 10+2/equivalent qualification with Physics, mathematics as compulsory subject along with anyone of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
-) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible for JEE mains 2021 you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent in 2021 or should have passed it in 2020 or 2019.
-) There is no age limit to be eligible
-) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Main.
But yes,
To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category. For this year i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75% - 65 % has been lifted off.
