sir i have entered qualifying examination admit card with photograph in jee main application form.but i wont get my admit card till the exam. now shall i take any ID proof to the exam centre or i has to take the the same ID proof that i filled in application form?please clarify my doubt.
Since you will not get your admit card at the time of first session of jee mains which will be conducted in February then you can take any valid ID proof. Remember that the ID proof must consist your photograph and must be non expired and original. Although the officials present at the centre will probably never cross check that you have filled admit card as ID proof and brought any other ID proof.
In class 10th I took 6(including 1 additional subject) subjects(total Marks 600) what should I write in the place of total Marks in jee main application form 500 or 600
For the JEE Main application form , enter the total marks obtained in the core subjects only, excluding the additional subject. The core subjects in class 10th account for 500 marks; therefore, enter 500 as the total marks on the JEE Main application form. This ensures an accurate representation of your academic performance in alignment with the JEE application requirements.
hello sir ! me OBC ncl catagory ka candidate hu lakin mere pas jo cast certificate he vo 4 years ago ka he kya me ise JEE main application form me upload kar sakta hu ??? kya me jee main 2021 ke liye aligible hu????
A category certificate is valid for one year and atmost for two years.
So, if you have a category certificate four years older then it can not be used in jee mains.
But there is no such information about the format or valid date is given in the jee mains information bulletin for any category certificate.
So as for reference, I advise you to check that for jee advanced 2020, the category certificate must be issued on or after April 2020.
So you can get a basic idea from this that to which date you should make your obc category certificate. So, you should make a make an obc certificate and upload it which was issued after april 2020 or in this month ( just to remain on more safer side ).
And this certificate must be signed by district magistrate or deputy commissioner or any other competent authority in your area.
Also of you have passed in 2019 or 2020 or will be passing your class 12th in 2021 then you are eligible for jee mains. If you upload the wrong category certificate then you can correct in the correction window. Otherwise you have to give jee mains exam with general category
Also here is the link so that you might get an idea of the obc certificate format that was used in 2020 for counseling :-

i applied for jee main 2021 application form there everything has completed and payment also done successfully. but at last it asked for email id confirmation when we confirmed and asked for OTP it isnt coming. now is jee main application form is confirmed or not???? wil this affect my admit card??
Some times due to technical issues or glitches these types of problems may happen. But if your amount is deducted then your application form is filled and registered.
So, a simple thing that you can do is that you can once again check your application status by logging in for already registered candidates section.
If all the steps are completed then your form is filled successfully and you will be able to download the confirmation page. But if the amount is deducted and your form is not registered or you haven't got the confirmation page and you didn't get the refund too, then raise this issue in the email and send to nta.
Now if all the steps are done and you are able to download the confirmation page, but only your email is not verified, so no problem at all. There will not be any problem for you to get admit card. If your confirmation page is successfully downloading then don't take any tension your application form is submitted and you will easily be able to download the admit card ( verifying the email kr not verifying will not create any problem ).

There are various institutes that take up admissions into engineering courses through JEE Main, and they have their own reservation criteria.
Students who are applying for admissions intothe stateengineering colleges acceptingJEE Main 2020scores will be givenreservationas perthe reservationrules set bythe state government.
Under Central government there is 15% reservation for SC candidates.
Key points :
- All the Indian Institutes of Technology are under the central government and thus, they follow the All India Quota while offering admissions into engineering courses.
- Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) -Admissions into IITs are based on All India Quota as well as Home State and Other State Quotas.
- Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) -As per JEE Main reservation criteria in GFTIs, admissions are made on All India Quota basis except forBirla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi andIIEST Shibpur wherein home state quota and other state quota is applicable, National Institutes of Technology (NITs) offer engineering admissions as per State Quota and Other State Quota basis.
- According to JEE Main reservation criteria in the NITs, 50% seats stand reserved under home state quota for eligible candidates, while the rest of 50% are left for candidates of other states. Herein, the Home State Quota stands for reservation for candidates belonging to the state where the particular NIT in question is located.
