Now Bihar and Jharkhand two different states. So if you are born in Jharkhand but your studying 10th and 12th from Bihar then you can apply for Bihar domicile certificate. If you wish to apply for the reserved seats under WBJEE domicile reservation criteria, then you must satisfy any of the below mentioned conditions:

• Candidate is residing in WB continuously for 10 years as on 31.12.2020.
• Candidate’s parent / parents is / are permanent resident of WB with permanent address of West Bengal.

If  you satisfy any of these conditions then you will be considered as domicile of West Bengal and will be given reservation under domicile reservation criteria. Also, you will be asked to submit domicile certificate/performa.
