my father is class Ii central government officer and mother is a state government teacher.combined income if family is 15 lac and I am from jharkhand state. Am I eligible for obtaining OBC NON CREAMY LAYER CERTIFICAT
greetings,
No, in such a case you would not be eligible because, you parents are government employees with government prescribed pay scales. Realistically speaking, government employees with sufficient incomes cannot claim such benefits solely because the government holds all income records of its employees and you wouldn't be able to under scale your family income by any means (a common practice amongst business families)

sir i am from jharkhand and i am getting 170 in ntse stage 1. Would i be able to qualify for stage 2 examination?
Hi
Which category do you belong to?
As you have not mentioned the category you belong to I am considering you from general category
It is very difficult to predict whether you will be able to qualify NTSE stage 1 examination or not as qualifying cut off marks or not as cut off marks depends upon a number of factors like
* number of students that appeared in the ntse exam,
*kind of marks obtained by them in ntse examination,
*toughness level of the ntse examination and several other factors.
The ntse jharkhand stage 1 expected cut off to be eligible for NTSE stage 2 is given below category wise:-
* general :- 130 - 145 marks
* Scheduled Caste :- 115 - 125
*Scheduled Tribe :- 87 - 98
So , with 170 marks you hold a very good chance to qualify NTSE stage 1 to be eligible for NTSE 2nd stage
