IS 148/200 enough to qualify for stage 2 NTSE from jharkhand in General category?
Is 160 a good score to qualify for ntse stage 2 in jharkhand from general category?
Hello Aspirant,
See on such score you can easily qualify NTSE stage 1 and also have good chances of being shortlisted for stage 2 because the expected cut-off for shortlisting of candidate for stage 2 from Jharkhand is 130-145 for General category.
Category |
Expected Cutoff |
General |
130-145 |
SC |
115-125 |
ST |
87-98 |
So it shows that you have good chances to be qualified for stage 2 but still we have to wait because the cut-off mentioned above is only the expected cut-off.
Cut off depends upon various factors such as the difficulty level of stage 1 exam, Jharkhand State quota, number of students appeared in the stage 1 exam, last year's NTSE Jharkhand cutoff and so on.
You can also check out complete details about the expected cut-offs for NTSE Jharkhand 2021 from the link given below :-

PLEASE ANSWERTHIS IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!My caste certificate(ST) is made in Jharkhand. But i reside in West Bengal. Will the certificate be valid in West Bengal also in the government medical collges here? I have the domicile of West Bengal.
Hello Dear,
You have not mentioned your caste category which you come. For example if you comes under OBC category. The certificate is only valid if it is issued under central OBC list otherwise OBC certificate issued by Jharkhand government will only be valid in the particular state because you come under state OBC list. Every state has a different caste falling under OBC list.
I hope this is helpful
