I would suggest you to prefer Kongu engineering college over Bannari Amman Institute of technology. Kongu engineering college is said to be developing year after year in terms of its faculty and infrastructure . The placements have also increased with nearly 50% of students getting placed which is 8% more than that of last year with good companies such as Infosys, Accenture visiting the campus with good packages.
