I would suggest you to prefer Kongu engineering college over Bannari Amman Institute of technology. Kongu engineering college is said to be developing year after year in terms of its faculty and infrastructure . The placements have also increased with nearly 50% of students getting placed which is 8% more than that of last year with good companies such as Infosys, Accenture visiting the campus with good packages. For the Kongu Engineering college, the cutoff for genral category is 44-10124. If you have the rank in the range then for sure you can go for the college. If not you can choose for other courses and apply for them too.

for OBC the rank range is:- 10133-10574.

Mostly the closing rank for every branch is quite high so that any medimumly performed candidate can take an admission.
