KVPY SX syllabus 2021 comprises subjects and topics from Class 10th, 11th and 12th. In SX exams, 120 questions will be asked, out of which only 80 questions of 100 marks are supposed to be answered. 1 mark questions will have a negative marking of 0.25. On the other hand, 2 marks questions will have a negative marking of 0.5.

The KVPY exam tests the aptitude and analytical ability of the student. It checks your application oriented knowledge and conceptual questions will be asked in the KVPY aptitude test. The prerequisites for a good score in the KVPY SX exam is clarity of concepts. For KVPY, knowing how to solve a problem isn’t enough. KVPY SX stream syllabus includes concepts of Physics, Math, Chemistry and Biology till Class 12. KVPY SX aspirants need to finish class 11 and 12 syllabus before November. Since there is no unit and topic based prescribed syllabus, KVPY SX stream you can study from NCERT books as well as IIT JEE (NEET for Biology) coaching material.

There are multiple resources available online as well as in the book market. The must thing you should have is the previous paper book of any publisher of your choice or any soft copy etc. Practicing previous year problems will make you confident before examination.

KVPY is a scholarship program which encourages the students to take up their career in science.To begin with the preparation you should have a idea about the exam pattern and syllabus. If you're interested to appear for the KVPY SX stream examination this year, here the eligibility criteria regarding the same-

1. Students enrolled in the 12th standard with science subjects during the year 2021-22 are eligible for the KVPY SX stream.

2. The Candidate must be studying in 2nd year of Cambridge International Examination Board.

3. The Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in maths and science subjects in the 10th standard to fulfil KVPY Exam Eligibility Criteria 2021 for SX.

4. For the fellowship programme, the candidate must join an undergraduate program in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.) in session 2022-23 to get the fellowship.

The amount that was deducted earlier will be refunded to the same bank account within 7-10 working days. You do not have to worry about that. Yes, It is necessary to prepare mathematics for KVPY SX exam. Even though you are pcb student, you need to prepare maths in order to get All India Rank.

I would like to advice you to start practicing mathematics and also practice more previous years question papers for better format understanding.
