As per the previous year cutoff, at 2 lakh OBC category rank in JEE Mains Exam clearly there is no chance of getting admission into any of the IIITs in India. The admission in IIITs usually close at 12K OBC category rank while it closes on 33K CRL rank.

You may try for state counselling as you may get a lower cutoff government college with good branch also. You will also admission in private colleges also.

Congratulations for getting good percentile in JEE mains 2020. The percentile you get according to that sorry to say but there are very less chances of getting admission into any NIT.

If u really want to study civil in the given list of colleges just dont go for srinagar mizoram, manipur, srinagar if you are not a local ‘&’ shit food tolerant beacause it’s the same where you study civil from , only your capability to study matters and the only affected factor is the placements, which depends slightly on college the popularity, TnP committee and stuff like ease of transportation etc.

And if you want to compare NITS then,

NIT SRINAGAR  > NIT MANIPUR > NIT MIZORAM

I think You are asking these questions because you want to know whether these colleges are worthy to be joined or not . Well sone these are NITs this have good placements .NIT meghalaya is also an old nit thus a bit more reputed. I will say you must visit ( search about) each of these colleges and search for their placements ,academic ,hostel facilities etc . These NITs are chosen less because of their location and not because of their quality .i will suggest to research more about these colleges

NIT Srinagar is Very good in comparison to NIT Manipur in many ways :

1. Placement of NIT Srinagar is very very good as compared to NIT Manipur. NIT Srinagar have 100% placement in CSE,IT. Almost 9o% placement in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and communication.

Weather of NIT Srinagar is simply awesome. It comes in top 5 most beautiful campus in India.

3.Faculty of NIT Srinagar is very much Experienced and old. since it was established in 2003 And NIT Manipur was established in 2010 and is quite new.

4 . NIT Manipur dont have Chemical engineering , Information Technology ,metallurgical engineering.

5. NIT Srinagar have good hostels compared to NIT Manipur. Since the hostels of NIT Manipur are in under construction.

6. Highest packages for NIT Srinagar is 10lacs-11lacs and average is 5lacs–5.5 lacs. And for NIT Manipur, Highest packages are 6lacs-7lacs and average packages are nearly about 3.87lacs.

But the highest package was 72 lacs in CSE from NIT Srinagar in 2011.

So, NIT Srinagar is good as compared to NIT Manipur in many ways. But even the moon has a dark side.

Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that.
