The MCI eligibility certificate that I received has got the name of the institution wrong in it. Should I apply for a new eligibility certificate?
Hello Gayathri Surendran,
If there is spelling mistake of your institution in the eligibility certificate then you can contact the authorities of MCI stating your problem. Their contact details will be available on their official website. They will reply you with a solution. But, if you need the eligibility certificate urgently then you apply again for a new eligibility certificate. Make sure that you cross check if the details you have entered are correct before submitting it.
What is the difference between a MCI Recognized medical college and a MCI Permitted medical college, and is choosing a MCI Permitted one a right choice?
Dear aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. As per your query A MCI permitted seat is any MBBS (UG) or Post Graduation (PG) Degree/ Diploma seat which has been allowed by MCI to admit students. So If a student has completed his/her UG/PG in a MCI permitted seat but not a MCI recognized seat can only practice in state in which the institute is located. So in short a student who has done MBBS/PG Degree or Diploma from a MCI approved seat cannot practice outside the state of the institute and those from MCI recognized seats can practice anywhere in India. If you want to practice if a particular state for the future then it is okay if you want to practise outside the state then go for MCI regonised. In overall the later will leave you with more options than the earlier. Hope you find this helpful. Thank you and good luck!
present AIQ running registrations and councilings , iam not registration of AIQ. compulsorry reg. requirement for MCI for state registration
If you want to attend state counselling only, it is neither important nor necessary to register for All India counselling. Your state and the concerned university will soon start its registration for MBBS/BDS admissions separately, irrespective of the MCC registrations.
For state counsellings, keep all your documents ready, like previous examination qualifying certificates, neet admit card and score card, category and domicile certificates, etc.
I want to do mbbs Or bds in any college approved by mci. I got 6lakh rank in neet. in counselling which option should I option ( have chances of getting admission) either aiq/central or deemed university.
Hello Aravind,
You have not mentioned your category and state domicile making it difficult to predict your opportunities.
Anyway, with AIR around 6 lakhs it is very difficult to get a conveyor quota medical or BDS seat.
However, if you can afford, try for management quota seats in private colleges or in deemed/central universities.
You can use our neet ug college predictor tool attached below to get a list of possible colleges in which you have chances of admission based on your rank, category, state etc https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hope you found this helpful.
All the best!

every mci recognized college in ukraine teaches us for plab and usmle?
Hi,
Well the medical college where you will be studying will prepare you accordingly for the USMLE. The focus is more on giving you the knowledge and in the process the preparation happens automatically for USMLE Or other license examination. You can also do the preparation yourself. The syllabus is what you study already in your degree course.
i belong to obc category but bymistake i filled ews category will mci recomd me qualified according to obc category aur ews
Whatever category you have filled in during MCI registration during the form filling, that will be reflected in your admit card thus score card. This means that according to MCI your category is EWS.
But during state counselling a verified certificate will be required by the officials. All the information provided by you should match in all the certificates or else you will risk your admission.
my bpharma college approved by MCI am I eligible for drug inspector exam
Hey aspirant,
Yes, you are eligible for drug inspector examination.
The basic eligibility criteria for giving the exam are as follows :-
1) Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level in Science, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their main subjects.
2) Candidates must be graduates from B.Pharmacy or medicine with specialization in Microbiology or Clinical Pharmacology.
3) Some entrance exams set up a criteria of 18 months experience in manufacturing or testing of Schedule C or C1 drugs. It is optional, though.

i have obc certificate but i filled EWS in neet form and i scored 117 marks... what MCI will say am i qualified or not??
Hi
I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but as you have filled ews as your category in NEET examination you will be treated as ews candidate only ,now nothing can be done and you can not change it to obc,
Neet 2020 qualifying cutoff is given below for different categories:-
Category cutoff percentile cut off marks
General/ews 50 720 - 147
UR - PWD 45 146 - 129
Obc/Sc/st 40 146 - 113
So , a student from ews category requires at least 147 marks to qualify Neet 2020 examination , so with 117 marks you have failed in NEET examination
you may try again for Neet next year and if you prepare again, you can use our Neet knockout program for which link is below

Thank you
