if i study mbbs abroad without mci eligibelity certificate. would i abel to perform practice in india? would my degree will be valid?
Dear Aspirant
Students who pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in foreign countries must take the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) before they can be eligible for practicing (https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/mbbs-graduates-from-abroad-face-a-hard-road-to-licence/articleshow/66021214.cms) medicine in India. The FMGE acts as a screening test before a doctor (who holds a foreign medical degree) can legally practice medicine in India.
Hope this helps
From which country passout MBBS students is not required to clear MCI screening test
Hello,
The Medical Council of India (MCI) is a licencing examination administered by the National Board of Examination (NBE) in India, also known as the International Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE). For all those Indian students who have obtained MBBS from abroad, MCI testing is mandatory. The FMGE clearance examination is obligatory for all doctors from a foreign country who have received their MBBS degree. Except for those from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the US who receive their MBBS and post-graduate degrees are excluded from this examination.
Is recognized by MCI of Lincoln University Medical College in Malaysia ? Is collaborated of Sangiban Institute of Health Sciences in west bengal in India. Is it study in mbbs in India but awarded by Lincoln University College as MD. Please suggest.
Lincoln university is recognized by the MCI. The Sanjiban Institute of Health Sciences (West Bengal) tied to it is also recognized by the Medical Council of India. As long as you take admission through a proper and legitimate procedure after qualifying the NEET, it should not be a problem.
Pwd certificate from 12 mentioned hospitals by MCI ,only necessary for All india quota or even also for state counseling???.....I am from bihar and I have pwd certificate from bihar government.....is it valid for state councelling???
Yes, it is valid. According to the information brochure, https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/pdf_Pros/PROS_UGMAC20.pdf, the PWD certificate can be issued by a Competent authority at State level. But it is mandatory that you should visit one of the Disability assessment centers if you want to claim PWD reservation in All India Counselling. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. For claiming PWD reservation in any of these, you need to visit the Disability Assessment Center.

*It introduced a common medical entrance exam at the end of MBBS course called NEXT(National exit test) to get qualified for pg education and receiving permission for medical practice.
*It aimed to increase the no.of health care professionals to make health care accessible to everyone.
*It has rights to decide the changes in medical portion.

is a foreign medical graduate eligible for upsc civil services examination without clearing the licensing examination called Foreign Medical Graduate Examination(FMGE) conducted by the Medical Council of India(MCI) ?
Hello,
I don't think so as per the eligibility criteria the degree certificate should be recognized under the university grant commission therefore i think it should be approved by MCI so that it will become equivalent to indian degree and second necessary condition you should be an indian citizen
