Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET )is an all India online common entrance tests managed by the Indian Maritime University and is for everyone who wishes to join the coveted profession of Merchant Navy. A candidate can enroll for an undergraduate and postgraduate program under IMU CET. All the programs and courses are offered by IMU (Indian Maritime University)and its affiliated Institution.The IMU CET exam will be conducted in June 1st week.
Eligibility Criteria IMU CET 2018
Anyone who wishes to apply for the IMU CET 2018, are required to check their eligibility and then only proceed further. The eligibility for criteria for IMU CET 2018 is as follows:-

Navy ssr ya air force me kitnaa marks chahiye

As we all know that the navy ssr exam is generally conducted in 3 phases as :-
1.written test
2.physical fitness test
3.medical assessments
So, only those candidates are considered eligible for pft rounds who had clear the written test with cutoff marks.
As the written test consists of total of 100 marks , so you need to score around 65-75 marks ( for every category candidates ) to get eligible / selected for next phase of the exam.

The eligibility criteria for joining merchant navy is finishing class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board.
To join in merchant navy you need to have completed +2. If you have completed +2 or equivalent course such as Diploma then you can join in as a Deck Cadet. You will be undergoing basic pre-sea training which will be arranged by the company in which you join.

Dear Kuldeep, you should complete your 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.You need to appear for IMUCET which is Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Examination followed by a screening test and a written examination. And you also need to successfully complete a Ship Training Course before placement. There are Private Institutions as well which train you for the posts of Deck Cadets and Marine Engineering jobs. The other Entrance Examinations are MERI and TIMSAT. Alternatively you can appear for JEE and study any of the courses in various streams of Engineering like Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc and then get placed in Merchant Navy.
