Metallurgy a sub stream chemical or mechanical?
Hey,
Metallurgical and material engineering is a sub branch of chemical engineering. But it has some courses of mechanical too like material science, deformation of materials, mechanical properties of materils, heat treatment etc. You won't get more courses from chemical engineering in metallurgy. Metallurgy has course similar to mechanical and even some of courses are there which are not thaught in mechanical engineering.
Hope it helps
Is Metallurgy is a stream of chemical?
Hey there
No there is no such thing about these two branches. If you are thinking that all metals which are when extracted needs chemical processing all chemical is used is metal extraction and all then I would say all branches are somehow connected like electrical engineer use induction motors whose whole structure is made by mechanical so all branches are interconnected do not get confused. Metallurgy is a demanding stream in India as number of colleges having metallurgy as a branch is less in India.
Good luck
What are the different other streams of mechanical
The main sub-branch of mechanical engineering is Auto-mobile engineering.
Besides following are also sub-branch of mechanical engineering:
Industrial & Production engineer
Industrial engineering
Mechatronics engineering
Industrial Automation engineering
Robotics engineering
Production engineering
Thank you, hope this helps.
How much time it take in csab for online document verification. It is still showing me under process.Should i visit alloted institute???
Hello Hazik,
As there are a huge number of students/aspirants who submit their document verification the process of document verification.the process atleast takes 4 days and maximum time it takes is 10 days.
YOu may have also given the dates or number of days it will take to verify documents.
If you are still not convinced or the number of days have been exceeded then mentioned above then you should go visit the institute for confirmation and your betterment.
hope this may help you.
Production eng. Vs metallurgy eng. Which branch has more scope
Dear Aspirant,
Both are really different and it depends on in which you are interested in. The scope in both the field has equal. If you study well in anyone of these and have a good result believe me other one will have no scope.
I hope this will solve your query.
Good luck
What is to be done in after mettallugy BTech ,. MS / PhD from USA?Is that having good scope in future?
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. After completing your BTech in metallurgy you can either go for Mtech or MS or MBA as for doing PhD you need to complete your Mtech/MS first. So you can do your MS in metallurgy as yes it would have scope in future.
So you can go for it. Also you can go for any other branches (field) in MS if you want to.
Hope this helps
If any queries feel free to ask
All the best!!
Regards
Will I get engineering branch of round 1
Could you please refer the specific name of college so that i can provide you the more information.
Thankyou
Jntuh-CHE , Jntuh-MET , Ou-CHE : give me the priority order. Iam willing to go with civil services.
Hello...
First I want to clear some fact that as you mentioned you want to go for civil services then branch doesn't matter because if you have your graduation degree in hand then you can sit for any civil services exam.
Now choosing branch depends totally on your interest. Choose branch in which you are really interested because you are going to read for next four years.
Order will be like:-
- JNTUH-MET
- OS-CHE
- JNTUH-CHE
For further queries feel free to comment.
According to josaa can a handicapped candidate will do metallurgical engineering in nits.
In order to view the gender and disability based restrictions in the various branches you should seperately visit the concerned institute's website or otherwise you can also view its institute profile on josaa website as the restriction depend on various factors such as requirements, conditions, environment etc. which vary from college to college. Hope this helps.
