WHICH IS BEST AMONG CIVIL IN NIT NAGPUR OR METALLURGY IN NIT NAGPUR????
Hello aspirant,
I hope you are doing well and good. In terms of placement Civil is good form NIT Nagpur because we have good environment for study of students and faculty and students help each other. Or you can change your branch here also after one 1st year but your result should be >80% or 90%.
In hope of branch change you can go for VNIT i hope there should be a option for branch change.
Or if you want to do higher study you can go for NIT R because metallurgy has its own value.
So choices yours.
In the last i would say that if nothing works go for NIT Silchar.
I GOT METALLURGY IN NIT NAGPUR IN ROUND 1 AND IN ROUND 6 I GOT CIVIL IN NIT NAGPUR...SO IF I WANT METALLURGY IN CSAB IN NIT NAGPUR...CAN I GET OR NOT????PLEASE ANSWER SIR/MAM....
Hello,
Seat allotment in CSAB counselling depends on total number of candidates applied for CSAB counselling, All India rank of the candidate, category of the candidate, preferences of institute and branch, seat availability etc. Depending on these factors the seats are allotted to the eligible candidates. It is quite difficult to predict the chances of getting seat in Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering because the cut off changes every year. You haven't mentioned your category assuming that you belong to general category last year a candidate with AIR 36340 secured admission in to Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
The cut off may decrease in subsequent rounds depending on total number of candidates applied for counselling, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To check the cut off use the link given below

To know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat you can use JEE Main college predictor tool using the link below

Average Package offered is 4.50lakhs. you may have heard about the girl named Jaya Gupta, final year student of B.tech Metallurgical Engineering from nifft ranchi who has become national topper in metallurgy in gate exam. Faculty is very supportive and helping. It is one of the best option.

All the best!
i want to take admission in metallurgy branch please is there any seat my 10th percentage was 70.67 % please what is the spot admission procedure
In order to take admission in B.Tech Metallurgical Engineering, a student has to successfully complete 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects. The student needs to secure at least 55% aggregate. If you have fulfilled all the criteria then you are eligible to take admission in B.Tech Metallurgical Engineering. You can appear for the various entrance examinations like JEE Main which caters to admissions for technical institutions all over India and other state level exams like WBJEE, MHCET, etc. Some institutes undertake their own admission tests like VITEEE and BITSAT. After appearing for the entrance exam, students would be selected based on their ranks in the counselling rounds.
which is better option among them? 1.IIT Gandhinagar Chemical 2. IIT Mandi EP 3. IIT Ropar Metallurgy 4. IIT DHARWAD Mechanical 5. NIT Rourkela electronics
hii ,
I will suggest to go for IIT ropar or IIT mandi and study coding IIT will provide you oppotunites and if you do not want to study coding the i will suggest to go for NIT rourkela as the placement of electronic branch are good .

Dear Student,
As per your rank and caste category, you have less chances to get NIT Warangal with any of your desired branches according to last year cut off :
Well, you need to remember that every year's cut off can change due to some following factors like seat capacity , no of students appeared etc.
