You haven't mentioned the category that you belong to, the cut off is different for each category so it is important to know the category of the candidate to predict the chances of getting admission to MFM in NIFT. Nevertheless, considering the Common Merit Rank and the cut off in 2019 you do not have chances of getting seat in MFM but you have chances of getting seat under reserved category with the category rank. So please mention your category to know the institutes in which you may get seat or you can check the cut off for NIFT using the link below

BDes shortlisted candidates after the written test can select the preference test centres and exam date for the NIFT 2021 situation test by providing the required credentials. NIFT situation test will be held in April/May. National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has open the registration form for NIFT 2021 situation test on March 22. To download the call letter for the NIFT situation test 2021 candidates will have to enter their roll number, the application number, and date of birth. You can go to the official website and book a slot for the second round of NIFT exam.

The NIFT conducts a Situation Test for the students who have been shortlisted for NIFT BDes Admission after the Written Test such as CAT and GAT! Then you'll have to attend the NIFT Situation Test 2021 which is a material handling and innovative ability test. You'll be tested for your innovation with the given material, composition of elements, colour scheme, construction skill, overall presentation, etc,. You must explain about it in written where 30% is taken from your write up. The medium of writing has to be in English and you'll be tested on your vocabulary too!

NIFT General Ability Test (GAT) for Master of Fashion Management is an offline exam which is for 150 marks! There are 5 sections such as Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability and English Comprehension, Analytical and Logical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs and Case Study. Yes, there is negative marking for GAT. You'll be awarded one mark for every correct answer and deducted 0.25 marks for every wrong answer!

To crack NIFT gat mfm exam aspirant should get as qualifying marks 50% of the total marks. But the qualifying ranks varies from one year to another. For Bangalore campus of NIFT there is 270 seats, and the qualifying percentage is 96.5. for 2020 exam
But for Hyderabad where the capacity is 210 student there qualifying percentage was 89.10 for 2020 exam.
