The registration for NIFT 2021 has not started yet but can start anytime soon.

NIFT 2021 Application Form will be released in the month of December 2020 .

NIFT 2021 will be held tentatively in the third week of January in pen and paper mode.  Candidates who clear the written test will be eligible to appear in the situation test which will be held in May 2021.

No the NIFT registration for master of fashion management has not been started for 2021. NIFT entrance exam dates are usually declared in the month of October, every year. However, this year the application forms have not been released yet. NIFT Entrance Exam 2021 is expected to be held in the month of February. all the things are delayed due to on going pandemic situation. Application form for NIFT entrance may now realise in December any time soon. Keep checking the official website of NIFT for further details.

The objective of the two year Master of Fashion Management (MFM) Programme is to develop leadership and managerial talents in the fields of management, marketing, merchandising and retailing, honed specifically for the requirements of the garment export, fashion and lifestyle and retail sectors. Students undergo in depth education in management also.

So it also includes Luxury brand management in it, but as a subject (the program won't be solely focussing on this).

NIFT PG 2021 online application process has not been started. It will start anytime soon . The exam will be conducted as pen and paper mode and the result of NIFT PG will be announced in February. However, the concerned authority will update the details of important dates according to this pandemic situation, in their official website:

You have to ensure your eligibility criteria for MFM program before applying for the same:-

• Undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute
• Undergraduate diploma of at least three years from National Institute of Design or NIFT
• Candidates who are in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear for the entrance exam of NIFT PG 2021

The MFM branch in NIFT,Mumbai commenced in 2005. Around 37 seats are available for the general category for Masters of Fashion Management in Mumbai.

But as per the official site the strength of the students in the current batch including all categories is 69. https://www.nift.ac.in/mumbai/pg-programmes

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is one of the best institutions in fashion technology which offers admission to those applicants exploring bachelor’s and master’s courses in design and fashion technology.

The release of online application form for 2021 session will begin on the 4th week of October 2020  and the deadline is tentatively Last week of December 2020 .

Considering your common merit rank you may not get seat in MFM in any NIFT campuses based on previous year cut off. If you belong to any reserved category you might have chances of getting a seat.
