Hello Dear Student,
According to New Education Policy 2020.

If you are exiting after 1st year: you will be awarded with a Diploma.
If you are exiting after 2nd year: you will be awarded with a Advance Diploma.
If you are exiting after 3rd year: you will get a normal Bachelor's Degree.

by when will be the national education policy be implemented for degree colleges
Dear Aspirant,
NEP, New Education Policy, 2020, is a broad guideline and advisory in nature; and it is up to the states, institutions, and schools to decide on the implementation. Government however have a target set, that is 2030. Central Government aims at the countrywide application of the nep by 2030, but this will be a gradual process and you will not see overnight sudden changes.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
will some part of national education policy be implemented in 2030 or will take till 2040 for complete policy to be implemented
Hii,
I read your problem statement. I think that it will not take so much time. In 1-2 year it will be implemented. However full details will be communicated by government shortly(if all things happens at time). 90% of the functionality will be implemented soon only some rare fields (0.001% )will be implemented by 2025-30
Regards
till 2040 when the national education policy would be fully implemented by schools and colleges which educational policy will be followed
Hope you are doing well during pandemic
Recently there has been a major change in education policy in India where now more emphasis is laid on vocational education so that students become industry ready
There were also many rational and radical changes where stress was given on local languages and the education policy designed by English people still prevailing was fixed with bugs and viruses that it contained
But implementation of this policy in every board and every segment of school education is a major task that will take a lot of time
It is estimated that it will be fully running around 2040 20 years from now
But what follows after that will depend upon the new leadership under which our country will move forward but one thing is sure that vocational education will become the theme of education in years to come
That's my opinion
will I able to do a major in sociology at the graduate level if I have taken biology and genetics at my undergraduate level according to the national education policy
Hello,
As per the education policy, you can pursue two majors in parallel, one should be full time and another have to be from distance. It is totally on your choice that which subject you are choosing to pursue for full time as well as for distance education. This policy will be valid from 2021 session.
which year shall the first year of college be according to the national education policy
Hii,
According to me it will take around 1 to 2 year to fully implement the new education policy to be implemented at the first year of colleges. As a lot of legal procedure and correction will be required for it by the government.(parliamentary) Hope you understand.
